CHAPTER #05 : Don't Say.
( The next day in school.)
( Kotori met Mitsui along the hallway.)
" How's the match last night?" she asked with a tone of haughtiness trying to spite Mitsui. But he just returned her question with a simple smile on his face.
" How about tonight? After the practise, lets play again?" Mitsui asked Kotori in return.
" Sorry, Mitsui. Can't tonight. I've got to do something for Akira. How about some other day?
" Well, in that case then, I'll practise myself." Mitsui replied with a sigh of being let down by Kotori's directness of expressing that she had to forefit their game to 'go out with Sendoh'. Moreover, she still called him 'Akira', so intimate.
" Got to go. Catch you later." then Kotori dissppeared down the hallway and away from Mitsui's sight.
( After the basketball practise.)
Mitsui wanted to say a word of bye to Kotori, but she already left the practise 15 minutes before they had ended and he felt sadly disappointed. Feeling angry with himself for letting her go off without even saying bye. He not only played alone to help him aid the undiscribable pain that he was feeling. He was also hoping that Kotori would appear just infront of him and hear him say that he loved her.
(About an hour later.)
In the meantime, while Mitsui was in the changing room Packing up and calling it a day. He heard footsteps in the court and shortly after that, followed by a sound made by the dribbled ball and 'swish' the sound of a goal scored.
" Let that be Kotori please." Mitsui prayed sliently as he creeped out of the changing room. A tall, dark, slim shadow was spotted within the distance.
" Don't creep behind the door Hisashi Mitsui!" Kotori shouted from afar.
" It really is Kotori!" Mitsui cried out in his heart. Then he walked towards her. Trying to act cool on the outside, but within he rejoiced that she came back.
" Don't stand there like a piece of block! Come on let's go for dinner." said Kotori.
