CHAPTER #09 : Baby Dearest
"Fine! I'm sorry that I came between the both of you. Don't worry. Since this began with me, I'll help you find her. And I'll step out of this triangle love!" Mitsui said, feeling that his love for Kotori is over.
" Then you stand there like a block for what? Wasting time? Come on let's go and find her." Sendoh said as he dragged Mitsui out of the court.
The both of them went around looking for the poor Kotori. After hours of searching, they gave up as night had drawn near. So they ended up having Sendoh to go to the police station while Mitsui returned home.
On the way home, as walked passed the neighborhood basketball court. There he hear the dribbling of basketball. Then a thought stroked him. 'who could it be? who's still playing at such a late hour?'
Then he purposely made a detour to have a look at the mysterious player. It was a tall, slim, dark figure. Then with the help of faint moonlight, he saw the face. It was -Kotori!
Just when Mitsui rushed towards her, she was already at the edge of fainting.(Due to dehydration and hunger -not eating for 10 hours since lunch at 12, now is 10pm) Then he caught hold of her. Before she passed out, she managed to give Mitsui a weak smile and a soft whisper," What took you so long to find me here?"
