She's Yusuke's 29 year old mom (in the beginning of the cartoon).  If you do your math, she was 15 when Yusuke was born!  Along with that, Yusuke's dad left home years ago so that's probably why Yusuke's a juvenile delinquent.  She drinks and smokes so we know where Yusuke gets that from.  Still, Yusuke means the world to her and when she found out he got in an accident she couldn't stop crying.  She is one of the main reasons why Yusuke decided he had to come back to life.
