Students across district feel the change
Cafeteria Prices Rise By Dime
by Peter Gutshenritter
With the Millard School District getting bigger and still growing, there has been a major renovation of the schools across the district. More specifically, there have been several changes at MN over the last few months. Not only has there been new siding, a new gym floor, carpet, and classrooms as well as new numbers, but something else not as obvious. Lunch prices in all the elementary, middle, and high schools have all seen an increase of ten cents on the main meals served each day.

On the very first day lunch was served, students went to the cash register to pay for their lunch consisting of the entree, fruit, bread, potato, and milk. Little did they know that the price had been upgraded by a dime, from $1.50 to $1.60.

Take the first left after Q onto Stonybrook. Keep going straight and take the first left after the practice softball field. Millard South is on the left and Buell stadium on the right. For visitor games turn west onto U street from 144th, to 147th. Turn by the Stroh Building. „Activity Director June Morrissey was honored as employee of the month for August. She was given this honor on Sept. 11.
