Nail's
Japanese Animation This guy named Nails has a great site with an eye-candy
logo, a good Ranma 1/2 site, a great Tenchi Muyou! Ryo-Oh-Ki
site, and a Sailor Moon site which would make any SM fan drool with
envy...I, however, am not one of those...I prefer Ryo-Oh-Ki...but I understand
that, among SM sites, of which there are plenty, Nail's is a real diamond
in the rough...now, where have I heard that phrase before...? His URL changed
a while back, but now he's back and better than ever...Definitely worth
checking out.
Kage's
Dojo Another great anime site, with info, links, and plenty of great
music in a variety of formats. I got some of the music for this site from
Kage's place. Check it out!
AnimEigo
Japanese Animation This North Carolina-based group was one of the first
companies to release commercially subtitled anime in this country, and
still the only one who really does it right...The nice folks who
brought us the cyberpunk classic Bubblegum Crisis, the Captain Harlock
memoir My Youth In Arcadia, and the Ninja epic to beat all ninja
epics, Dagger of Kamui [aka Revenge of the Ninja Warrior...but this
time uncut and full-length...and yes, it's supposed to have an "a" in Daggar]...AnimEigo
[anime, cartoons + eigo, English] has been doing subtitles
for nearly ten years now, back when they used their well-earned slogan,
The best movies you'll ever read...they now do dubs as well...and
they have built up a massive library of high quality anime, anime
goods, and even cels...if you like anime, do yourself a favor and check
these guys out...Even if you don't, check 'em out anyway...you may be pleasantly
surprised...
Comedy Central/South Park The official homepage of one of the best shows of any kind to come along in a long time, South Park...This is very much an adult anime, the show itself is R/MA-rated, but the site isn't quite as bad ^_^...except for all the Java stuff on it...not a site for the bandwidth-challenged among us...More SP links coming soon...and South Park is too an anime!!! ... See also: The Beefcake Sound, Video and Image Archives, which is one of the best sites... or now, group of sites...with info, sound clips, music, videos, and images from South Park...to be found anywhere...and, fortunately, [they apparently] have Comedy Central's blessing. Anything South Park not to be found there, they probably link to...Definitely worth your time...[they also have both versions of "The Spirit of Xmas", the R-rated pilot short films for SouthPark.
The Anime Turnpike Where to go to find just about anything animated. You name it, they probably got a link to it.
