[RPGamer logo] The torch of the Unofficial Squaresoft Homepage, aka SquareNet, has apparently passed on to a worthy successor in RPGamer.com . This is either a commercial site which doesn't look like one [this is a good thing], or else one heckuva fan site. They have info on just about any RPG series you can think of, from Phantasy Star on the Master System to Breath of Fire III on the PSX to the entire Dragon Quest series on the Famicom and beyond. They do not restrict [Squall Leonhart and his Gunblade] their coverage to just one platform or company..and, oh yes, gobs of info on Square's next big RPG, Final Fantasy VIII [woo-hoo!]. It is run by a foursome of RPG fans, at least one of which works for a video game mag, and is part of the IGN network. The site also contains megs upon megs of RPG-related artwork, from Japanese and American box shots to fan art, screen shots and original concept artwork by the guys who thought this stuff up in the first place ^_^. Also included is a wide variety of music from many of the games on the site; name a music format, they probably have it. Definitely a must-see.

Unofficial Squaresoft Music Page Lotsa good music in a wide variety of formats for both PCs and Macs, along with players to listen to them with.
