The 3rd Angel "Sachiel"
The first actual combat between the angel and Eva unit-01. Unit-01 became silent after damaging it's head, and left arm. Later, it went berserk. Eva eroded the angel's AT-Field and annihilated it successfully.




The 4th Angel "Shamshel"
Though it's external power supply broke down, Eva-01 destroyed the angel's core with very little time left. Nerv obtained a perfect sample of an angel except for the core.





The 5th Angel "Ramiel"
"Operation Yashima" was carried out by Misato Katsuragi. Eva unit-00's (Rei Ayanami) first operation, to protect, acting as a shield, for Eva-01. With the extempore proton canon rifle, the angel was terminated. Eva-00 was heavily damaged but the pilot, Rei, returned alive.




The 6th Angel "Gaghiel"
Eva-02, and S. Asuka Langley's first operation with Shinji Ikari (Eva-01). It was also the first close-range battle on the sea, and first underwater battle. With the help of the UN Navy, the angel was annihilated.


The 7th Angel "Israfel"
The first angel which is able to seperate and combine into two parts. Through the simultaneous attack of Eva-01 and Eva-02 against the two seperate cores, the angel was successfully annihilated.


The 8th Angel "Sandalphon"
Found in the crater of Mt. Asama. Nerv announced a command A-17 (top priority). Unfortunately, the capturing operation failed. The objective was changed to extermination. Eva-02 accomplished the mission successfully.


The 9th Angel "Matarael"
The Angel attacks during a blackout. Booted manually, the three Eva's, on a mission together for the first time, annihilated the angel.


The 10th angel "Sahaquiel"
The angel was flying from the stratoshere. By the intercept of the AT-Field from the three Evangelions, the angel was annihilated.


The 11th Angel "Iroul"
Intruded Nerv headquarters through a decay on a construction piece. The angel, concidered to be similar to bacteria, intruded into the MAGI computers. Casper 3 was used to promote it's mutation till it self-destructed. Nerv denied the occurence.


The 12th Angel "Leliel"
A floating sphere with black and white stripe markings. The shadow which it produces was the actual angel. The shadow, known as "the sea of Dilak" engulfed Eva-01. Later, going berserk, Eva-01 annihilated the angel, in a effort to breakout from the inside.
