Here's the basics.

The Worshippers of Shampoo originated off the Ranma ML in the month of November, 1996. Specifically, it was created by Jason Hicks and Jamie Kahler, both of whom are retired from the ML, causing the assumption of command by myself and UKYO2RANMA on June 19, 1998. In any case, the nomenclature of our faction originated on November 6th, while the first cry for membership was on November 2nd. I officially joined November 12, as the third member of the Worshippers of Shampoo.

Since it's creation, the Worshippers of Shampoo have participated in nearly every Shampoo thread presented on the Ranma ML. Usually the members of the WoS tend to come in only when there is Shampoo bashing going on, but we often reply on all major Shampoo threads. The WoS is well practiced in defense of Shampoo, and our voice has become respected. Many people fear us out of ignorance, but most respect us for our devotion and intelligence in debate.

Unfortunately, the Founders retired from the ML sometime in early 1998. They told no one about their departure. Their absence prompted UKYO2RANMA and myself to assume the reigns of command, over what seemed to be a dying faction. However, this was not to be. Although the WoS still remains small, it is very much alive, and proved it by picking up more members from the Ranma ML. The Worshippers of Shampoo shall ever remain the staunch defenders of her honor on the Ranma 1/2 Mailing List.
