A friendship
is what we have developed.
It was so well put together.
I was the puzzle and you were the piece.
You came into my life, determined
to solve the entangling mysterious
and hidden secrets.
You relieved the pain and pacified my heart,
which has been brutally severed apart.
You didn't stop, but fought your way inside,
searching for more unhealed cuts and bruises
that I still hide.
Slowly and surely, you found your way in.
You softened my wounds with your kindness
and understanding, listening and acceptance,
loving and caring.
Once again,
I was guided to look at reality,
because of the honesty
you have given me.
I realized life is full of chances
and starting anew.
I see the blooming romances.
I hope this time it will last through.
