I'm short, about five foot eight or nine. I'm sandy-blond with blue eyes, and a line-backer build, about 260 pounds, or around 118 kg for all you metrics. I'm primarily of Irish stock, as you can see from my name, and a nod of Scot and just a pinch of something else. Your typical American, a little bit of everything. Here's a good picture of me, really shows my personality well.
I've had good schooling, which has helped me get where I am today. I attended St. Marks School, a catholic school from grades K-6, and got most of my basic skills from there. Thanks to the nuns who smacked my knuckles, and the teachers who bored me to death with English and Math, because of them, I slipped through Clark Moores Middle School and Madison Central High School without effort, and with (nearly) straight A's. I'm now at Eastern Kentucky University, studying a variety of things. I'm a biology major with pre-med qualification, with a chemistry minor, and working towards proficiency in the German and Japanese languages.
What am I gonna do with this? I have no idea.
Personal Life
I've got plenty of hobbies, in fact, so many that they intrude upon
my worktime (which is probably a round-about way of saying I procrastinate
and goof off). Let's see, I'm into anime, sci-fi movies, video games,
comics, miniature gaming, role-playing games, and last but certainly not
least, aikido and shiatsu.
I didn't get the way I am all by myself, oh no, I can blame all that on my friends and family. Some of them I've known longer than others, and some of them have had more of an effect than others, but here's a few of who's to blame.
I'm currently residing at Yamanashi University, in Kofu, Japan. I'll be here a whole calendar year, studying the language and culture, as well as meeting all sorts of neat people. I'll be making lots of sidetrips to Tokyo and the surrounding area, you can be sure.
Plans for ahead? Don't have any. I tend to make it through life on the spur of the moment, and as such don't lend myself to such long-range planning. I'm a simple person, to be honest. I don't need fancy things, or a luxury car, or even a huge house. I just want to have a job I can be happy with, and friends and family to love and cherish. If I can find that working as an executive for a firm, or a research scientist, fine. But, if I find that working at the local Toyota plant, then that's okay, too.
