Fights! cont. Raditzu dissmisses the power reading as a mistake. Then, another reading comes up. Two power levels are fast approaching. One is power level 334, Gokou. The other is power level 322, Piccolo. When they land, Raditzu inquires how they found him so fast. Gokou doesn't say, he just wants to know where Gohan is. Raditzu won't tell him. Raditzu still tries to convince Gokou to join him, and they ramble on for a while. Piccolo is getting tired of talking. He just wants to kill Raditzu, then Gokou. He takes off his turban and mantle. They are weighted clothes. All together, I think they weighed around 100 lbs. His power level jumps up to 408. Gokou comments on the good idea and sheds his gear. His power jumps up to 416. They both go after Raditzu. The fight is fast and furiuos. They tear up the ground fighting Raditzu. They move lightning fast but Raditzu is still faster. They hit him with punches as fast as bullets, but Raditzu blocks them all. The two warriors leap back for a quick rest. Gokou again asks where Gohan is. Raditzu tells him he's in his ship. They go back to fighting. Raditzu leaps up into the air. The duo go after him. But, Raditzu charges up for a second and unleashes two huge blasts. One from each hand. Gokou barely dodges, Piccolo, however, is not so lucky. His left arm gets in the blast's path and is blown away. The two blasts continue right into the mountains in the background, completely destroying them. Piccolo falls and is bashed by Raditzu. Raditzu dissappears. Gokou can't figure out where he went. Raditzu appears right behind Gokou, "I'm here!". Boom! He smashes Gokou. Piccolo and Gokou are now side by side, looking like they've been through a war. Raditzu looks like he just got up in the morning. Gokou asks if Piccolo if he thinks he can still fight. Piccolo says he can. He also says he has a special attack he's been working on. Gokou asks if he thinks it will work. Piccolo says it should. Gokou again asks if he can do it with one arm. Piccolo says that's no problem. He just needs 5 minutes to gather all the energy. Gokou will have to fight alone against him. Gokou agrees and wishes Piccolo luck, as does Piccolo. Gokou makes some hand motions to prepare and then, dashes out to Raditzu. Meanwhile, Piccolo grimaces and raises his index and middle finger of his right hand to his forehead, and begins charging up. Gokou is actually connecting punches to Raditzu, but they do nothing to slow him down as Raditzu hits him to the side. Gokou leaps up and begins to charge up. Raditzu' power meter starts to skyrocket as Gokou raises to power level, 924. He looks over at Piccolo. His power level is now 1020. Gokou starts tp say his famous line. Energy is busting out of his hands as he begins, "KAME". Raditzu is now starting to get ticked. He realizes he underestimated them. "HAME". Raditzu is starting to worry, Piccolo's power is still increasing, as is Gokou's. Gokou is now ready. White light is almost completely surrounding him. "HA!!" The giant beam speeds towards Raditzu who trying to run from it, but it's too fast. He is now fuming. He stops in his tracks and puts his hands infront of him. KABOOM! The blast completes it's journey and creates an atom bomb size explosion. But, when the smoke clears, Raditzu is standing there in one piece. He is really pissed at Gokou. He decides to send up a present. "SHIRE!" (DIE!). Gokou gets hit by the energy ball and drops like a fly. Raditzu runs over to him and is about to kill him, when his scouter brings up a huge power, 1330. Piccolo is fully charged. Raditzu is stunned, but angry at the same time. He knows he can't block an attack that powerful. He yells at Piccolo and is going to drop him with a blast of his own, but Piccolo gets is ready and let fly. "Makkanosappo!" (Screw beam attack of the devil). The beam spins at the speed of light towards Raditzu. The beam hits. The beam continues past Raditzu and smashes into a mountain. Two ENOURMOUS explosions occur. When the dust settles, a huge round chunk was taken out of a mountain. Piccolo looks around, and to everyone's surprise, Raditzu is still alive. He dodged it at the last second. Only the tip of his shoulder armor is broken. Raddits comments on his aim being off. Piccolo is totally baffled and just stands there looking like he's seen a ghost. Raditzu says he's now going to kill him. He puts up his hand and gathers energy for and second, and charges. Piccolo stands there, gaurding himself, knowing it's the end. Raditzu is about to send the blast, when he stops dead in his tracks, a look of shear surprise on his face. Who's behind him? Gokou, and he's got Raditzu's tail. Gokou squeezes the tail and Raditzu falls to the ground. Gokou asks Piccolo if he can do the attack one more time. Piccolo says yes, but hold tight because it's going to be another 5 minutes. Raditzu's brain starts working and he starts pleading to his brother, "I'll change! I'll leave you alone! I'll tell the others you won't join!". This sickening display goes on for a while. Piccolo is screaming at Gokou, not to listen to him. Gokou, having a heart of gold, asks him if he promises to leave. Raditzu says yes. Piccolo screams at him, "SON GOKOU!". But Gokou falls for it and releases Raditzu's tail. Raditzu grins and kicks Gokou backwards. Piccolo groans about Gokou being too trusting, and know the planet's doomed. Raditzu is standing on top of Gokou, smashing his ribs. Raditzu asks Piccolo to try the attack again. He says he doesn't have time to charge up. So, Raditzu happily goes back to crushing Gokou. But wait! We forgot about somebody! Little Gohan! Gohan is in the ship crying for his mom and dad. He's quiet for a second and hears his father screaming in pain. Back to Gokou! Gokou is almost gone. Raditzu says he's no fun to play with and that this will be the final blow. "Say goodbye Kakkarot!". Suddenly, his scouter gets a huge power reading. Animals start to run and fly away from the bushes. Everything is absolutely silent, then, he looks over to his ship. The panels on the side start to pop off, then, the whole thing explodes, and Gohan leaps into the air looking like he's gonna kill the world. Piccolo is absolutely floored that the kid could do that. Raditzu looks at his scouter. Gohan is at power level, 1307! "Impossible for a kid!" Gokou yells at Gohan to escape. Gohan just stands there. Teeth are clenched as are his fists. He is totally pissed off at Raditzu. He growls, suddenly an aura starts to glow around him. He starts growling more. Then, he squints his eyes, tears steaming down them and SCREAMS at Raditzu, "YOU'RE HURTING MY DAD!!!!!, as he says this, bursts of steam and energy surround him. The entire area around him turns red. Then, Gohan launches himself staight at Raditzu. Raditzu is totally stunned and just stares as Gohan speeds toward him. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!". Gohan smashes straight into Raditzu's stomach, shattering the armor around his chest. Raditzu falls back. Gohan simply loses the aura and plops on the ground. Gokou can't beleave what he just saw, "G..G..Gohan?". "Daddy!". Gokou yells at Gohan to run away, "But Daddy?", Raditzu recovers and measures Gohans level. Power rating 1. "Hey kid, what happened to all that power?!". Gohan has no idea what Raditzu is talking about. Raditzu gets mad at Gohan and bats him away like a rag doll. Gokou pleads Raditzu not to hurt him because he's just a boy. Raditzu corrects him, "A very powerful boy! He's stronger than you! He could live to be a problem!". Raditzu stands above Gohan, ready to waste him, but Gokou grabs Raditzu from behind. They scuff around a bit, but Raditzu can't get free because Gohan's attack weakened him. Gokou screams at Piccolo to do his attack. Piccolo is already charging. Raditzu tells Gokou, that if he holds him from behind, the blast will kill him too. At this point Gokou doesn't care. He just wants Raditzu dead. Piccolo is rather happy about these turn of events. Not only will Raditzu die, but so will Gokou. Gokou continues to struggle to hold Raditzu. (Keep in mind, this is the Japanese version, we never got the chance to see this full scene because of the stupid censors) Piccolo is finally ready. Raditzu wants to know if Gokou is really going to go through with this, "Yes!". Piccolo points his fingers at Raditzu's chest and yells, "MAKKANKOSAPPO!!!!!!!!!!" The screw beam hits it's target and drills straight through Raditzu and Gokou's chest. Then we see a front view of them. Each has a basketball sized hole in his chest, blood flies everywhere. Both hit the ground, still alive. Piccolo saunters over to Raditzu to gloat. He says that even Gokou will be alive in about a week while he rots. Raditzu asks how. Piccolo explains about the Dragon Balls. When he finishes the story, Raditzu laughs. He tells Piccolo that scouters are also communicators. His two Saiya-jin friends heard every word. They'll come here and kill everyone. Raditzu laughs, "And the funny thing is, they're MUCH stronger than me! Ha Ha Ha!", Piccolo gets ticked, sticks his hand infront of Raditzu's face and fires the final blow, but even in the Japanese version it's not shown, it's assumed he just shot air at his head. Gokou's friends arrive at the scene. They get there in time for him to utter a few final words to them. He tells them to take care of Gohan and Chi-chi. Also, wish him back with the Dragon Balls as soon as possible. Kurririn promises to do what he asked. Then, the Earth's greatest warrior, dies. Gokou vs Nappa! This fight is a total joke! Nappa's not even in tthe same league as Gokou! It's not even funny! Gokou arrives on the battle field JUST in time to save Gohan from being crushed by Nappa. Nappa laughs at Gokou. He says his power can't possibly be 5,000. He was born weak, you can't get stronger as you get older. Wrong. Gokou looks around and sees his dead comrades Piccolo, Yamucha, and Tien. Nappa laughs and tells him about the other little guy that went Kamikaze to try blow him up. Gokou is thoughrolly pissed. He walks up to Nappa very slowly, Nappa laughs at him, "What are YOU gonna do?". Gokou just slowly works his way forward. Finally, when Gokou's no more than 2 feet away from him Nappa yells, "This one's for you!". His punch is faster than lightning, but it only succeeds in connecting with air. Gokou is over with Kurririn and Gohan. Nappa is totally stunned. Gokou gives both of them half of a senzu bean that Karin gave him. They want to fight with him, but Gokou refuses to let them. Kurririn is stunned, "Just because you were taught by Kaiousamma doesn't mean you can beat them. If we work together, we might be able to at least defeat Nappa.". Gokou ignores the comment and looks over at Nappa his energy starts to rise. Kurririn tells Gohan to back off because he never saw Gokou this mad. Gokou walks over to Nappa and stands a few yards away from him. He screams and starts to power up. His energy level skyrockets. Vegita has his scouter on and he's measuring the power level. 6,000 7,000 8,000!!!!! Vegita can't believe it. He breaks his scouter. Nappa can't believe it either. Gokou gloats, "Don't worry, I won't use Kaiouken yet." Nappa dashes at him, "SHUT THE @#%* UP! You're not even worthy to be in my presence, let alone fight me! Nappa puches, but doesn't even finish the punch when Gokou dashes behind him and kicks him in the neck, knocking him on the ground. Nappa curses him, "You son-of-a-@#%*! How'd you get behind me! Gokou says Nappa's only good at talking. Nappa is totally blown over the edge of rage now and powers up. "TAKE THIS". He rushes Gokou with hundreds of punches and kicks a second. Gokou doesn't even break a sweat. Vegita can't figure out how Kakaroto improved SO much in one year. Now it's Gokou's turn to attack. He runs straight at Nappa, then he dissappears. Then reappears right on top of Nappa's head. Nappa tries to crush him between his hands but, Gokou dashes down. He pulls back his hand, and smashes his fist, a foot into Nappa's gut. Nappa didn't even know what happened, he just stared staight ahead trying to get a gasp of air. After the surprise left, he grasped his stomach in pain. Nappa can't stand this. Gokou just stands there, totally fine, looking like he just had a cold drink. Nappa powers up and fires a blast at Gokou. Gokou takes the blast full force and he's not one bit phased. Nappa's eye's bug out of his head. He powers up for another attack, Gokou gets to him first. He gives him an overhead smash. Then he follows up by kicking him into a rock formation. Nappa get's up and he's totally nuts. He throws a rock at Gokou that he easily dodges. Nappa refuses to believe that Gokou's stronger than him. Nappa powers up and he looks like a bison with human head. He's huge. He raises his finger tips, which causes a huge explosion. Gokou's already far away. Nappa goes after him, and tries a flurry of punches and kicks that Gokou dodges with no trouble. Nappa must now resort to his Chou Attack. He opens his mouth and lets out a white blast. Gokou counters it with a normal ki (energy) blast. Vegita is ticked off at Nappa. He tells him to come down, he's embarrased him enough. Nappa gloats about how Vegita's gonna desroy Gokou. As he comes down, he sees Kurririn and Gohan. He decides to avenge his loss by killing them with his Chou Attack. Gokou sees this but he's too far away, so he must resort to Kaiouken. He speeds up and is on Nappa in an instant. He bashes Nappa's back, then waits for his falling body to hit the ground, he puts his hands up and Nappa's back lands on them, I assume his back is now broken. He throws Nappa's broken body over to Vegita. Vegita gives Nappa his hand to help him up. Nappa smiles. Yeah, he helps Nappa up allright, he throws Nappa into the sky, he powers up and launches a blast at him, "SHIRE!!!!!" Gokou vs Vegita! This was it, the fight we American fans had been looking forward to for MONTHS!!!!!!! The climactic battle between good and evil. After Nappa finishes burning. Gokou is afloat in the air with his son and Kurririn. Vegita simply looks up at them with a smile on his face. Gokou can feel this guys power. Nappa wasn't even close to this guy. He knows the two must leave. He tells them to leave and go to the Kame House where Muten Roshi (Kamesennin) is. Gohan doesn't want to leave his father, but Kurririn realizes the seriousness of this event. Kurririn convinces Gohan and the two little warriors wait to see Gokou off. Gokou suggests a fighting spot to Vegita. He really doesn't care. They fly off to a mountainous wasteland. Gokou knows that no civillian will get hurt out here. Vegita stands on a cliff, his hair blowing in the wind. He decides to give Gokou one last chance. "Kakkarot, why don't you join me? We'd be an unstoppable team!" Gokou addimately refuses. Vegita says he gave him his chance. The two stand there, the ultimate warriors of their time. Faces locked in seriousness. The fate of the Earth will be decided with this bout. The two crouch, in attack form. Then, from a nearby cliff some rocks fall, Gokou is spooked and speeds towards Vegita. He tries to punch him but Vegita easily dodges the blow. Then Gokou punches again, but Vegita grabs his fist. Gokou breaks free and meets him with a barrage of lightning fast blows Vegita smiles and blocks every one easily. He gives Gokou a uppercut, but it doesn't even phase him as he tries to kick Vegita to the side. Vegita dodges it and dashes away. Gokou follows suit, but Vegita makes a u-turn and smashes Gokou. The two fly through the air matching each other punch for punch. The only difference is, Gokou really trying, Vegita's having fun. Vegita taunts him the whole time. "Is that the best you can do Kakkarot?". He finally lands a blow to Gokou's stomach. And then gives Gokou an overhead smash. Gokou lands on the ground, Vegita lands atop a cliff, looking down on Gokou with a smile on his face. Gokou is now ready to use Kaiouken. He powers up and goes after Vegita. From his spot on the ground, Gokou just punches the air. The force of the punch destroys the cliff Vegita was standing on. He actually starts to kick Vegita's butt! It looks as though Gokou's gonna win, but, Vegita dodges a punch and smashes Gokou down to Earth. Vegita thinks Kaiouken is an interesting trick, but nothing compared to HIS power. Vegita decides to show his full potential. Vegita starts to power up. It's quite a scene. Lightning and energy seem to be emitting from Vegita. Gokou thinks it's a typhoon (Yes, he did think it was a typhoon in the Japanese version). He finishes the power up with a huge white light that explodes out from his body. Vegita is now powered up and ready to go. He starts to rip Gokou up. He moves so fast, even Gokou can't see him, "What's the matter KaKaroto?". He kicks Gokou down. Gokou dashes atop a mountain to try to get above him. To late Vegita's already there. Vegita lets off what looks like a Hadoken. Gokou shouts out, "Kaiouken times 2!!!", That's the next level of Kaiouken, but it really pushes Gokou's body to the limit. With the speed of Kaiouken times 2, he just barely misses that attack, and Vegita's next blast, which comes so close, it rips off half of his shirt. The two land, facing each other, several cliffs apart. Vegita's still smiling, he's having a grand time. Gokou rips off the other half of his shirt, and decides to pushes his body to the limit, and go for a Kaiouken times 3!!!! Meanwhile, who's that watching from behind a nearby mountain? It's Yajirobi! (Yajirobi IS'NT the coward FUNimation makes him out to be. He actually, single-handedly defeated one of Piccolo Daimou's minions. He's not as brave as Gokou, but he's not the doofus he's made out to in America). Anyway, he silently cheers Gokou on. Gokou prays that his body can handle the surge of energy, and begins to power up. First, a faint white glow surrounds his body, then his muscles begin to rapidly grow. Vegita is now watching wide eyed. Gokou continues to power up, his body literally filled to overflowing with energy. The powerup alone destroys the cliff Vegita was standing on. When Vegita falls, Gokou makes his move. When Vegita looks up, Gokou is right in his face. Gokou pulls back his arm and slams Vegita in the face. Vegita tries to fight back, but it's useless! Gokou has unbelievable speed. He punches Vegita through a cliff and into the center of a mountain. Vegita is really pissed now! He destroys the mountain and tries to go after Gokou, but Gokou's already in front of him. Vegita tries a blast, but then Gokou's behind him, then in front of him in less than a second. Vegita is so stunned he doesn't even have time to block as Gokou plants his fist right in his stomach, Vegita pulls back, grasping his stomach. Gokou is now the stongest! Vegita tries a last ditch effort. He tries to go in for a concentated punch (It's just a punch but you put all of your energy into it). Gokou just grabs his fist and squeezes. Vegita tries to hold back the pain. He wraps his over Gokou's arm and climbs on Gokou's shoulders, trying to break his back with a overhead smash. Gokou doesn't give him the chance. He bashes his head into Vegita's jaw, bashes his body around like a rag doll, then pulls the Saiya-jin prince several feet into rock. Gokou falls to the ground. Vegita is on the ground in pain, he finally realizes that someone is stronger than him, and he can't take it. It's too much for him. Vegita leaps into the air, declaring that he doesn't need Earth, and that he'll just destroy it. Little plot hole here. If he destroys the planet, unlike Freeza, Vegita can't survive in space, so he would die. Gokou yells at him telling him it's not fair. Vegita doesn't really care anymore. He's laughing like a maniac as he powers up his Gyarikku-Hou ( Get it, Vegita, vegetable, Gyarikku, garlic! I'm not kidding! Akira Tiriyama did it as a joke) Gokou has not even fully recovered yet, and his body is actually bubbling. He has no choice though, he screams, "Kaiouken times 3!", and starts up a Kame-Hame-Ha. Vegita pulls his hands back, just like Gokou does for a Kame-Hame-Ha. Purple energy is leaping around him like he was a open electrical line. Gokou starts to move his hands into position, meanwhile, the ground around him begins to shake, and rocks start to lift into the air. Kame! Blue energy begins to form in his hands. Vegita is still laughing, the energy around him is growing much larger and fiercer. Hame! Mountains around them shatter, the energy around Gokou doubles around Gokou. Vegita's energyfills the sky. Vegita is ready and lets his attack loose, "Gyarikku Hou!". HA! Gokou is totally surrounded by blue energy and lets his blat loose. The two beams meet and can't overcome each other. Vegita can't believe Gokou had an attack as strong as this. Gokou puts everything he has into his beam, as does Vegita. They struggle for a long time, but neither overcomes the other. Gokou knows he is running out of energy, and won't be able to keep it up much longer. He only has one option left. He mentally prepares himself, then yells, "Kaiouken times 4!!!!!". An ENOURMOUS ball of blue energy goes up his beam's path and pushes back Vegita's Gyarikku Hou. Blue energy overcomes Vegita and his attack is vanquished. Gokou's blast hits him and puts him into orbit. Back on the ground, Gokou can't move, he's stuck just standing there. He's just trying to get a little air going through him. Then, from behind the rocks, Yajirobi emerges to congradulate Gokou with a big slap on the back. Gokou screams in pain. The littlest touch sends shockwaves through his body. The two banter a bit, Yajirobi is real proud of Gokou, unfortunately, Gokou admits that Vegita isn't dead yet. Yajirobi is stunned. Gokou really can't believe it either, but he can still feel Vegita's power. Unlike the American version, where they make Yajirobi a coward and he runs off, Gokou actually tells Yajirobi to run because he could get killed. Anyway, Gokou's waiting, knowing that any second, Vegita could return. Then, he sees him. Vegita lands near Gokou and smiles. He says that he noticed this planet doesn't have a moon. Piccolo blew it up a while ago. He says it doesn't matter, the Saiya-jin have their ways. (Contrary to what he says in the American version, I've seen the Japanese episode, and Gokou's father, Bardock, didn't devlope the moon light attack! I've seen his father, and he wasn't a scientist!) What Vegita does here, is tell Gokou about how sorry he is to do this move because its ugly and underhanded, but he will kill him. He also explains that the reason Saiya-jin turn Ohazoru is because they absorb Brute Waves from light sources such as the moon. Vegita gathers energy for a moment and forms a ball of white light in his hand. He mocks Gokou and then, releases the ball into the sky. It travels a distance and then expands, creating a very large white ball. Gokou absolutely no clue as to what's going on. Vegita looks up at the light, and then something strange happens to him. He starts to breathe very fast, his pupils blank out, his teeth start to grow sharper. Then, he starts to grow, and at the same time, hair is rapidly covering his body. His face starts to grow out and cover with more hair. His body suit stangely expands with him. Finally, the transformation is complete, Vegita is now Ohazaru (The name the of the beast the Saiya-jin change into) Vegita explains that unlike most Saiya-jin, he trained in this form and can therefore have total control of himself and retain memory of the events that occur while he's in this form. Finally, it's all clear to Gokou. When he was a little boy, he realizes he must have seen the full moon and squashed his grandfather Gohan, that's how he died. And the time in the desert at Pilaf's castle. It's all very clear to Gokou now. But, he has better things to worry about now. Gokou tries to run. He can't fight the beast because his body is totally spent and because he couldn't beat him even if he were at full power. When Saiya-jin go Ohasaru, their power is increased about ten times. Gokou tries to run, but he can't Vegita is too fast, even though he weighs several tons! Vegita likes this turn of events. He plays cat and mouse with him, Gokou hides behind a mountain, Vegita destroys the mountain. Very simple rules. Vegita evetually gets Gokou with his back to a cliff and he can't go anywhere. Gokou thinks he's lost and is about to give in, but behind Vegita, he sees the sun and gets an idea. He raises his hands to both sides of his face, he looks at the sun and yells, "Taiyou-Ken!" This was Tenshinhan's attack! The sun's light gathers around Gokou and spreads out, going straight into Vegita's open eyes. Needless to say, Vegita is temporarilly blinded. Gokou's not going to take advantage of this oportunity. He knows that there's only one chance of beating Vegita now. The Genki Dama! (Energy Ball) Gokou finds a nice quiet spot about half a mile from the reeling Vegita. He stands atop a cliff and takes a deep breath. He prepares himself and then he raise his hands above his head. He is now ready to form a Genki Dama! Gokou speaks, "Please, everything living on Earth, listen to me. Give me all your energy so I can save you! No matter how big or little, give me your energy." Across the world, everything is silent. The blades of grass in the field slowly blow in a light breeze. The seas are slowly rolling. The fish of the rivers swim, slowly. The trees in the forest sway slowly in a wind. Then, in the middle of a field, a tiny speck rises from the ground. It shines in the light of the sun. It pauses for a moment, but then, it seems to take direction as it glides towards something. Suddenly, more tiny specks rise from the field, then hundreds fill the air and all go in one direction. The seas are suddenly calm and hundreds of specks rise up from the ocean. Across the world, more and more specks rise up and follow a single path. They all go directly to Gokou. Gokou is concentrating very hard, trying to harness the vast amount of energy he's collecting. His body begins to glow as more and more specks go into him. The specks are the life energy of everything living. Every living thing on Earth, is giving part of it's life energy to Gokou so that he can create the Genki Dama. Gokou starts to get surrounded by a flaring white energy. He is almost done gathering the energy he needs. But, Vegita has now gotten back his sight. He's totally pissed at Gokou for humiliating him with an attack like that. He can't wait to crush Gokou. He looks around for a second, and then he spots him. Gokou has now collected all the energy he needs. "Warm, it feels so warm!" He concentrates for a moment and brings all the energy into his fist. Vegta is now just about on top of him. Gokou pulls back his hand, ready to unleash it, but Vegita is too fast for him. Vegita opens his mouth and lets out a beam that destroys a half a mile radius. Gokou falls to the ground. Vegita laughs at Gokou. Gokou knows it's over. He just lays on the ground and laughs. Vegita jumps on Gokou breaking both his legs. He grabs, Gokou is his hands and starts to crush his chest. Gokou screams in pain. Gokou's part in this fight is now over, wanna know the rest? When I get my Gohan section up, which will be after my Piccolo one that's next, you can find out! I won't be doing Gokou versus the Ginyu Tokusentai, because this wasn't really a great battle. It was funny, because Gokou beats almost all of them easily, except for Ginyu. Make no mistake though, Vegita kills every Ginyu member except Ginyu! If you want to read about this battle, I will most likely put it in my Vegita section. Now onto a true epic battle. The battle of the greatest good and the vilest evil. This fight is...... Freeza, the name kinda gives you chills doesn't it? ( bad joke ). This is a VERY LONG FIGHT!!!!!!!! This was originally going to be the last chapter of Dragon Ball Z!!!! But, fan response was so great to this, that the series continued! For those of you who don't know, Freeza is a diabolical white lizard-sorta looking thing with a purple forehead. He's VERY powerful and is actually the one who destroyed Gokou's home planet Vegita. Freeza has been fighting Vegita, Piccolo, Gohan and Kurririn for a while. Gokou was in a healing tank rejuvinating from his battle with the Giniyu Tokusentai. He finally fully recovered and rushed out into the already furious battle. (I realize this is probablly VERY confusing for some of you, but, more will be revealed in other character's biographies and the manga summaries I will have on this site) Gokou arrives on the battlefield ready for action. Gohan and Kurririn can't believe it's Gokou because of the immense power he has. But more importantly, Freeza has taken Vegita down and is about ready to deliver the final blow. Gokou stops Freeza from doing so. Freeza says, "Where'd this garbage come from?" Vegita calls out, "Kakaroto!". This is a Saiya-jin name and Freeza knows it. He can't fit together how there's still another Saiya-jin. Then he remembers the one that tried to stand in his way, back when he destroyed planet Vegita. He looked very similar to Gokou. His name was Bardock!!! Gokou's father! While Freeza fits the picture together, Vegita realizes that Gokou (Kakaroto) has finally become a Super Saiya-jin! Something he couldn't even achieve (although he thought he did). He's amazed (but also jealous). Freeza hates the thought of yet another Saiya-jin around. He hates them! He calls them "monkeys" (duh, guess why?) He tries to attack Gokou, but he drops Freeza. Freeza tries his finger blasts. They're a lot like Kurririn's Kienzan. They can cut through anything, only these are straight blasts. Kurririn tries to warn Gokou of their danger. Gokou just deflects them harmlessly to the side. Freeza is surprised by this. Vegita tells the others Gokou could do that because he's now a Super Saiya-jin and he's going to kill Freeza. Freeza's tired of hearing about the Super something or other and kills Vegita with a finger blast. Gokou is pissed at Freeza and asks him why he killed him when he didn't even attack. Vegita calls out to Gokou. He tells him there's one more step to becoming a TRUE Super Saiya-jin. Gokou doesn't understand what he's talking about. Vegita explains about his heritage as a Saiya-jin and how Freeza destroyed his planet. With his final breath, Vegita implores Gokou to become a Super Saiya-jin and kill Freeza. Prince Vegita of the former glorious Saiya-jin race is now dead. Gokou respectfully blows a grave into the ground and buries Vegita. He says a kind word or two. Gokou didn't like Vegita's attitude or his actions, but he did respect him for his great power. Piccolo realizes that Gokou is now REALLY pissed and the fight is gonna get really big. He orders Kurririn and Gohan to move farther away from the battle. Gohan pleads his father not die. Gokou has no intention to. They fight a bit and Freeza is starting to have fun. He lets off a blast that pushes Gokou into a mountain and burns his hands. Things don't look good for Gokou, however, he still has his new form. The 10g Kaoi Techniques. Gokou starts to use the his new attcks and now Freeza sees how he defeated Giniyu. They stop fighting and talk for a while, then they go back at it again. Freeza gets an advantage, and hits Gokou to the bottom of a lake. Gokou takes this time to think of a plan. Freeza's faster than him, so he's gonna have to outsmart him. Gokou thinks for a moment and then comes up with an idea. Piccolo and the others start to worry about him. He hasn't come up for air in a while. Even Freeza starts to wonder what's going on. Gokou forms to Kame Hame Has and guides them underwater, then, when they get directly beneath Freeza, he brings them straight up and into the unexpecting Freeza. Freeza at first thinks they're Gokou and gets away from the first, but then the second one hits him and sends him crashing through several hills. Freeza is getting more and more excited. He's really enjoying himself. He wonders out loud how he's going to cook Gokou. (All Saiya-jin have names that mean food. ex. Raditz=Radish Kakaroto=Carrot Vegita=Vegetable Gohan=Rice Nappa=Lettuce). Gokou and Freeza talk for a while...again. Then Freeza levitates some rocks and hurls them at Gokou. Gokou easily dodges them, but they were just a distraction. Freeeza sends a blast at Gokou that paralyzes him. He then sends Gokou slamming into the planet. Gohan and Kurririn start to panic. Piccolo thinks it's stupid to panic. Gokou is fine. They turn around and see Gokou in fine shape. Commenting on how that blast was a bit too powerful. Gokou goes back to Freeza. Both of them reveal that they've just been toying with each other until now. Freeza suggests that they find a nice island somewhere for some old-fashioned hand-to-hand combat. Gokou thanks him for the handicap. Freeza says he'll make an even better handicap for Gokou. He'll fight without using either of his hands. (If any of you have Hyper Dimension, Freeza fights like this for the most part in that game) The others (Gohan and Kurririn can't believe it) Gokou and Freeza fight for a while. They both do about evenly well. Then Gokou goes and does something stupid, he bites Freeza's tail. He spits it out and says it tastes disgusting. Freeza's pissed about that and punches Gokou. Gokou whines about Freeza's promise. Freeza says his promise is up. Now, you have to understand something here, on the inside, Freeza is a twisted phsycopath who wants nothing more than to kill everything except his loyal followers and rule the universe with an iron fist. However, on the outside, Freeza is an eliquent gentleman with manners straight out of 18th century England. He's very well spoken and polite. He constantly compliments Gokou on his strength during the times when they stop the fight, however, he always restates that Gokou is of couse no where near HIS power. Anyway, just goes to show that even twisted weirdos can have manners. So anyway, they both stop for a while. Freeza AGAIN compliments Gokou. As does Gokou. They talk a little about the fight with the Giniyu Tokusentai. For a moment, Freeza thinks to himself outloud, "Hmmm, so what should I do you? Should I break your arm? Break off an ear?.....No, how about I just rip out your throat?". Freeza then happily brings to Gokou's attention that he himself has only been using about 50% of his true power. Gokou thinks he's bluffing. Freeza concentrates and starts to power up, proving that he's not. Freeza goes after Gokou and beats the living crap out of him. Gokou still manages to stay on his feet, Freeza is impressed. While this is ging on, on Kaiousamma's planet, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, and Chaoz are hearing about the fight through Kaiousamma who can telepathically "feel" whats going on, on Nameck. Kaiou tells them that Gokou's getting beat. Tenshinhan tries to brighten things up by saying he still has the 10g Kaiou Techniques. Kaiou corrects him and says Gokou's already using them. Back on Nameck, Freeza uses another of his special attacks. This is probably his most powerful attack! The Death Ball. This is a really nasty attack. Freeza raises his index finger and makes a tiny, tiny, tiny little glow at the point of his nail. Then, whenever he pleases, he makes the tiny, tiny, tiny ball of energy grow to ohhh...about the size of an apartment building. Then he lets fly. Well, this time it isn't that big, but he can make them that big. Anyway, this Death Ball smashes into Nameck creating a humoungous crater. Gokou is actually getting worried about Freeza's huge power. He actually is considering the fact that he might be defeated. Gokou looks inside of himself and realizes he has no other choice. He brings his body up to the 20g Kaiou Tecchniques. He pounds Freeza around like a rag doll and unleashes a Kame Hame Ha on him. Freeza is actually hurting now. Gokou is remarkably stunned by his own power. He knows he's almost impossibly powerful, but his Kame Hame Ha still only succeeded in burning Freeza's hands. Getting burned up like that only succeeded in pissing Freeza off. He lands near Gokou and says in a very calm, cool, and quiet voice, "That thing just now.....it hurt.". Gokou is getting worried....again. Because he knows that Freeza is only using 50% of his true power. Gokou knows what he has to do. After a short pause, Freeza's face twists in anger and he screams, "THAT REALLY HURT!!!". Freeza flies into Gokou, hitting him with his head, but Gokou doesn't fight back, Freeza doesn't know why. Piccolo knows Gokou is up to something. Piccolo is wondering what exactly this attack is. Kaiosamma didn't teach him it. Gohan and Kurririn know exactly what it is. It's a Genki Dama! The energy on Earth was very small, so Gokou only made one about 3 feet long. However, on Nameck, there's a much larger amount of energy. But it's nearly enough energy to beat Freeza with. So, Son started to absorb energy from the planets near Nameck, causing the ball to form in outer space. The Genki Dama here is about 20 feet long by this time. Freeza is still oblivious to why Gokou isn't fighting, but he's getting pretty ticked off. He provokes Gokou with some cursing. He loses it totally, since he can't figure out why Gokou isn't fighting back, and begins attacking. Piccolo gives Gohan and Kuririn some of his energy. They might need it in a short while. Gokou is still concentrating on making the ball as best he can between Freeza's blows. Then, Freeza looks up. Uh-oh. Freeza sees the Dama (Ball) and is horrified at the power inside of it. He knows he has to kill Gokou now or he's one fried Freeza (sorry about that). He starts powering up a Death Ball. He sticks the tiny, tiny, tiny ball of energy in Gokou's face. Gokou know's it's over. If he drops the Dama now, it could easily be dodged, and even if it hit Freeza, it wouldn't do much damage. Gokou knows his hour has come. Freeza smiles, "Hmmm...Too bad you won't fight. Now get lost!" SMASH! Piccolo comes out of no where and nails Freeza in the face with a REALLY powerful kick. While Freeza is still flying through the air because of the attack, Piccolo sternly says, "Gokou! Finish forming your Genki Dama!" Freeza gets pissed, "You're still alive Nameck? I've been rushed by each of you one at a time, like scurrying rats! IT'S REALLY PISSING ME OFF!!" Piccolo asks Gokou if it's ready yet. Gokou says he still needs more time. Piccolo starts arguing with Gokou. "Just drop it Gokou!". Gokou refuses. He still needs more time. Meanwhile, Gohan an Kuririn notice that Piccolo's surprise attack on Freeza took up most of his power. Gohan wants to help, but Kuririn won't let him. Kuririn knows that Piccolo is willing to throw away his life to help Gokou, and he won't let Gohan interfere. Freeza taunts Piccolo, "You still alive dead man?", "I'll show you how much power is left in this dead man!" Gokou continues to absorb energy for the Genki Dama. Now the thing is really starting to charge up. Gokou struggles to harness and keep control of the vast amount of energy. The Genki Dama, far out in space, now doubles in size. More and more energy is taken from every living thing on the planet. The fields, the fish, the ocean, mountains, even tiny lady-bugs give their share of energy. Gokou is working up a real sweat. Now, back to the fighters. While all that was happening, Piccolo began to charge up his attack. (Piccolo's theme music starts up in the backround. I love his theme music!) Piccolo puts his arms bent at his side he begins to power up an attack. Freeza stands in the air a couple feet away from Piccolo, and smiles, then crosses his arms. Piccolo yells out, "Woahhhhaaaaa!!!! KYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" Piccolo finishes charging and realeses his attack. "KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" The disc of energy speeds gracefully towards Freeza, but breaks into tiny pieces that glance off when it hits him. Freeza didn't even move a muscle. Still smiling Freeza provokes him, "Hmph. What a waste of power." Piccolo is slightly pissed off at the cocky lizard creature. He concentrates for a second and then lets it fly with a full scale attack of hundreds of balls of energy, "DadadadadadadaDAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! KakakakakakakakakKAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!" His arms are moving at a blinding speed. Piccolo stops for a second to charge up for the final blow. He puts his hands infront of him and lets off a long and powerful beam headed stright for Freeza. BOOM best describes what happens when the beam connects. Piccolo is totally spent, his arms are left hanging at his side. Then, a look of terror and surprise covers his face. Freeza is perfectly alive and well. He looks a little mad, but he's in fine condition. He looks at Piccolo with pure hatred and in less than a second, he teleports behind Piccolo. He grabs Piccolo's odd pink muscles and squeezes so hard, the muscle bulges out the spaces between Freeza's fingers. Needless to say Piccolo is in some really bad pain! Freeza asks him, "Didn't you hear me idiot?" He bashes Piccolo in the chest with his knee, then he smashes Piccolo's back over his knee. Freeza asks Piccolo, "You really do want to die soon, eh?" Piccolo looks down at Gokou and manages to spit out a couple words. "Gokou, hurry up and finish it! Drop it on him!" Gokou can't do it he still needs more time. Piccolo is in incredible pain, but he still needs to buy Gokou more time. He tries to attack Freeza from all angles, but Freeza is to fast for him, and hits Piccolo instead every time, redefining the word PAIN for Piccolo. His face is distorted by Freeza's constant abuse. Eventually Freeza hits him down to the ground with his tail. Piccolo lands on his side. He pulls himself around to face Gokou. He pleads with him, "Gokou......drop it..on him. I'm almost finished." Gokou AGAIN responds, "I need more time." Then Freeza floats down beside Piccolo and looks straight down at him. He smiles, "Looks like you'll get your wish! You die first!" Piccolo looks up at Freeza, his mouth gaping. Freeza sticks his hand in Piccolo's face ready to plant the final blow. Gokou can't move away from his spot to help Piccolo, he's to far along in the formation process. A huge smile grows on Freeza's face. Then....a red and blue beam come out of nowhere and blast Freeza from both sides. Piccolo's eyes pop open in surprise. Aftewr the smoke clears, Freeza is still standing there, but he is in a defensive formation, with his arms over crossed infront of his face. Meaning, if Freeza didn't defend himself, he could've been seriously hurt by that attack. But, who did it? Gokou didn't. Piccolo didn't. Then it hits Piccolo, he looks over to the cliff a mile a away, he sees, Gohan and Kuririn, with their hands out in attack formation. They let out the blast that saved him. Piccolo acknowledges them, "Even though you guys aren't that strong, hang in there!" He smiles at them. Then Freeza acknowledges them in his own special way, "Oh, is there another fly way over there?" He laughs, "Hm hm hm hm You guys are really great at pissing me off!" He gives a REAL evil smile. He clenches his fist so hard it draws blood. A vein in his head starts to bulge out. Then he decides to finish this game, "PLAYTIME IS OVER!!!!! IT'S TIME FOR ME TO DESTROY THIS ENTIRE PLANET!!!!" Freeza lifts his arm straight up and then raises his index finger. He creates a black Death Ball (normally they're pink) with black energy flowing around it. Then his face lights up with a HUGE smile and raises himself into the air. Remember, Freeza can survive in space, so it doesn't matter if he destroys the planet or not. Piccolo finally gets on his feet and looks up at the creature of pure evil. "Gokou! Isn't it ready yet?" This time something new happens, Gokou doesn't respond. Energy starts to glow around Gokou's hands and then we are taken into outer space. I can't explain how HUGE this thing is! It is high above the planet, but it's slowly starting to come down. Gokou looks up and sees the thing in the sky, then something snaps inside Gokou and he knows it's time to drop it. "Allright, it's ready!" Now Freeza is still happily looking at all his soon to be victims (or so he thinks) on the ground. Then Piccolo yells, "Do it Gokou!" Kuririn looks up at the thing in awe, Gohan shouts out, "Father!" The camera zooms up to Gokou's face then he shouts, "HaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!" And for the first time in about ten minutes Gokou lowers his hands. The Genki Dama begins to drop. Freeza is facing the viewer and this huge thing is bearing down behind him. Freeza's eyes open real wide. Then he slowly turns around. He sees the Genki Dama coming down Towards him at full speed. I believe the next words out of his mouth are ^_^, "OH SHIT!!!!" Gohan and Kuririn duck for cover as do Piccolo and Gokou. However, those two are just meters away from the blast zone. They could easily get fried! Freeza is left floating in the air as this MONOLITHIC ball of energy about the size of a house comes straight down on him. He puts his hands out to try and push it away, "This is nothing!!" He screams. Viens are starting to bulge out all over his body. The force of the ball is creating a devastating wind. Mountains are beggining to break up. The sea directly under the contact zone is slowly getting pushed away. Freeza is trying with all his might it push the Genki Dama away. His muscles are at least double their normal size. The proud Freeza screams out again as the Dama is getting to closer to the ground, "This is NOTHING!!!!!!!!!" His eyes are beggining to bulge and fill with red viens. His body is now one giant pulsating mass of flesh and blood. He gives one last defiant scream, "THIS IS NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The ball is literally feet away from the ground. By this time, entire mountains have collapsed just by the force of the Dama coming down. Now Freeza is scared. Sheer terror is all over his face. Yet, he's still trying to push it away. Finally Freeza knows he's been bested. He gives out two final words, "OH.....MY!!!!!!!!" But now, Freeza's time is up. The Dama hits the ground. Freeza's final scream can be heard for miles. "GGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....." Now it's time for the real power of the Dama to shine. After smashing into Nameck's surface, the Dama caves inward, but then EXPLODES OUTWARD!!!! And I do mean EXPLODE!!!!!! This Dama just totally destroys Everything in the surrounding area and then some. Even Bulma, who's miles away from the blast is tossed around in the air like a rag doll from the force of the explosion. In a word, BOOM! White light fills the sky all over Nameck and the explosion soars miles above the planet all the way into outer space. Freeza....just got burned!
