Student must reapply each semester for the continuation of the program.
Student must maintain 3.25 overall GPA and maintain full-time student status to be qualified for reapplication of scholarship/financial aid program.
The award will be void if the recipient receives other scholarships totaling to $5,000 per school year.
Full-time transfer or currently enrolled student at an accredited college in Texas with at least 12 hours per semester or high school senior applying to an accredited college in Texas.
College Students: 3.25 overall GPA.
Family financial need. Parents’ and applicant’s financial record (i.e. tax return) is a requirement for scholarship/financial aid consideration.
Two letters of recommendation from someone other than a relative.
Essay describing how community activities have affected the applicant's life and how the applicant intends to contribute to the community in the future (written in either Vietnamese or English).
Proof of U.S. citizenship or residency.
High school or College transcripts.
Two letters of recommendation from someone other than a relative (written in either Vietnamese or English).
Parents’ and applicant’s 1997 first two pages of federal Income tax return (Form 1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ).
SAT or ACT composite score (High school seniors only).
