- EPISODE 200 -

This episode aired February 8, 1997

This episode begins with Chibichibi praying. She turns into her older self and talks to Sailormoon, telling her that she was Galaxia's last hope. She was Sailor Galaxia's star seed, sent out to find the Light of Hope (Usagi) and destroy Chaos. After saying so, a red butterfly enters Sailormoon's star seed. Sailormoon becomes Serenity, and her star seed turns into a sword. Chibichibi tells Usagi to attack Galaxia, but Usagi refuses to do so, even after Galaxia starts attacking her. Instead of fighting back, Usagi protects herself by dodging all of Galaxia's attacks.

Galaxia loses the bands on her wrists (the bracelets) and turns darker; Chaos has now taken over her body. Galaxia/Chaos continues to attack, and Usagi continues to dodge until eventually Usagi's sword is broken. In it's place, Chibichibi appears, unconscious. It appears that Chibichibi was the sword. Now that the sword is broken, Chibichibi disappears.

Usagi is sad, but refuses to fight back, claiming that fighting would never solve the problem, even though Galaxia/Chaos calls her coward. Galaxia tells Usagi to give up and to give her the star seed, but Usagi refuses, saying that she will save the world. Her star seed glows as she goes toward Galaxia. A flashback is shown of Galaxia in her pure/true form when she was still good. She is shown in a field of flowers. There are star seeds floating up from these flowers. Finally, Usagi is able to break Galaxia's sword and reaches for her hand. As she grabs it, Galaxia says that she loves the world too, and Chaos leaves her body (An animation of this is available in the Sailormoon Animated Picture Gallery).

After Chaos has left Galaxia's body, Usagi says that Chaos is where it belongs - in everyone. She also tells Galaxia that she can start her life over again and take care of her star seeds. Galaxia lets then free and vanishes.

While Usagi is glad that Galaxia is back to normal, she becomes sad and starts to cry because she thinks that she is all alone without her friends. However, a star seed starts to appear next to her and to her surprise, she sees her friends alive, reassuring and thanking her. After then, Mamoru appears, with Chibichibi in his arms. Chibichibi thanks Usagi and disappears. The Sailor Starlights also appear and are happily reunited with Princess Fireball.

Afterwards, the next scene shows everyone on the school roof getting prepared to say good-bye to each other. They each say their good-byes, until Seiya is left to say his good-bye to Usagi. Although Seiya tries to hint that he cares deeply for Usagi, she apparently does not understand and continues to think of him as a friend. Seiya is disappointed, but tells Mamoru to take good care of her. But after the Sailor Starlights transform and leave with Princess Fireball, you can see Usagi looking up after them saying Seiya's name. Perhaps she really did know how he felt, but loved Mamoru too dearly to show it.

Elsewhere, the outer senshi are in Haruka's car, watching the sky and the shooting stars. Hotaru and Setsuna each make a wish, but their wishes are kept secret. Then Hotaru asks Michiru what she and Haruka both wished for. In response, Michiru says that they didn't make any wishes because they were happy with what they had already. Haruka agrees to what she says.

The episode then moves onto the next scene, where Usagi and Mamoru are sitting on a park bench alone. The following dialogue occurs:

Moon: Mamo-chan, do you like me?
Mamoru: Yeah.
Moon: Really?
Mamoru: Yeah
Usagi: How much?
Mamoru: What happened?
Usagi: How much?
Mamoru: When I'm with you, I get filled with energy.

Usagi and Mamoru look at each other, with the big moon in the background. Usagi's voice: "I'm Tsukino Usagi, 16 years old, in first year of high school. I'm a little clumsy, and a little bit of a cry baby. But actually, I'm the fighter for love and justice, Sailormoon." Usagi and Mamoru kiss (see picture below).

The end credits appear, where a bunch of pictures are shown: The five Sailor Senshi; Eternal Sailormoon; the three lights and the princess; Galaxia (good), Usagi, and Chibi Chibi all with wings, flying (see picture below); Mamoru and Usagi (see last picture).

Young lovers: Luna & Artemis and Usagi & Mamoru ^_^

After the ending song, Usagi says, "It's the end." (*sniff* So sad)
