金 城 武 幫 泰 山 說 話 中 、 日 、 粵 語 全 包 了
金城武將為今年迪士尼動畫「泰山」擔任中文、粵 語及日文三個版本的配音代言人。
據了解，金城武一次代言三個不同的版本， 已創下迪士尼外語版的新紀錄。
在上週五參加完金曲獎後，金城武便專程飛往美國迪士尼加州總部，與該公司總裁卓
瑞迪簽下合約，正式敲下這項合作計畫。此外，迪士尼還安排他參觀 甚少公開的動畫
片場，介紹動畫師，希望他能進一步了解「泰山」的製作過程 。迪士尼台灣分公司總
經理曾文泉表示，打從開始尋找「泰山」代言人，就一 直鎖定金城武。 據了解，這
次迪士尼挑上金城武的原因，除了他在亞洲各國人氣正旺外，「 台灣出生，有一半日
本血統，能說流利的中、日、粵語」的條件和本領，更是 他一開始就雀屏中選的要因。
昨日迪士尼還特地對外發佈正式的新聞稿，把金 城武介紹給好萊塢的媒體。
「泰山」是迪士尼第三十七部動畫，美國預定六月十八日上映，至於金城武代言的中、
粵、日語版，則分別於七月十七日、七月十五日及十二月推出。

Translation:
Takeshi is going to be Tarzan's voice in the upcoming Disney movie Tarzan.  He will do the
Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese versions.  From [their] understanding, this time Takeshi 
has accepted to do three different versions of this movie, and that has broken Disney's 
non-English thingy's record.  (hope you understood that)
Last Friday, after the awards, Takeshi flew directly to the head office of Disney in California 
to sign the contract.  Also, Disney has arranged him to go to some showings of classic animations 
(that are open to the PUBLIC!), introduce him to some artists, hoping that he'll understand 
the work that went into Tarzan more.  THe Disney office in Taiwan has said that since 
starting to look for the voice for Tarzan (the character), they have wanted Takeshi.
From [their] understanding, the reason Disney chose Takeshi besides the fact that he's REALLY
famous in Asia, is that "he was born in Taiwan, and half of his blood in Japanese, and he can 
speak fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese".  Yesterday (May 6), Disney "pronounced" (right word?) 
him to the rest of the world, introducing Takeshi to HOLLYWOOD!!!  (AHHHHHHHHH!!!)
Tarzan is Disney's 37th full length feature, it'll open (in North America) on June 18th, 
and Takeshi's Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese versions will come out July 17th, July 15th 
and July 12th respectfully.
