****Lost Boy's Lost Luck*****

There was once a boy. And he was traveling in a forest. It was a big, anceint forest, with big, anceint trees. It was mid-afternoon, but the trees blocked out the sun. The sun sparkled up somewhere in the sky, obilvious.

"Where am I *now*?!" cursed the boy in the forest. I'm sure this comes as no surprise to you that this boy was Hibiki Ryouga. He yelped when the tree talked back. That tree is me. And this is a very tragic story.

"A forest."

"What the...?" He moved closer to the tree. It was one of the smaller trees. But every part of it was perfect, and it had the most birds nests, and, oh, did I meantion that I'm that tree? "You...didn't just say something, did you?"

"Sure did. Who are you?"

"When I'm awake I'm Hibiki Ryouga, but I'm quite sure I'm not awake!" Ryouga backed up a ways, feeling as though the universe had betrayed him somehow by giving a tree the privilage to speak. I'm sure it probably did. The gods are probably laughing at him right now. I know I am.

"This is an enchanted forest. This forest is filled with magical pools. Its kind of like Jusenkyou, but there aren't curses on the pools. They're quite lovely actually. If I could find a bathing suit that fit, I wouldn't mind swimming in one. Yes, anyway. There is a big pond of silver water in the center of all the pools. It will answer three of your questions."

"Can you take me there? I'm...afraid my sense of direction isn't quite what it should be." Ryouga blushed.

:Lost much?: the tree thought. Aloud it said, "Dude, I'm a tree."

"Oh, yeah."

***

The tree organized a transportation method. Trees passed him along using their branches so he couldn't accidently wander off and get lost again. This is the coolest forest. The tree's can talk here, but we can't walk. That sucks.

It was during this time that Ryouga realized you have to be pretty damn lost to ask a tree for directions. Even a talking tree. You'd probably have to be even more lost to ask him for directions, though.

Ryouga finally made it to the silver pond. It was quite a journey considering where the ponds started, the trees ended. He couldn't seem to figure out how to walk in a straight line.

The silver pool asked him what his three questions were.

He asked, "Will I ever be cured of my Jusenkyou curse?"

"No."

"Is there a way I could ever defeat Ranma?"

"No,"

Rats. "Is there ever a way I could make Akane love me?"

"Yes."

"How? How? HOW?!"

"You've already asked your three questions."

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
