Chapter Twelve: Omega                                  



"Well, you two have got to be the most fun I've ever had." The Omega Master said dryly and stood up off his throne, eyeing the two for a moment with a smile. He then stretched again and walked up to Eternal Sailor Moon.

Narrowing her eyes at him in a silent threat, she growled at him with a dry tone in her voice, "What are you looking at?" He said nothing to her, but chuckled lightly and kept on looking at her. Getting even angrier about it, she struggled a bit against the invisible restraints, "You wouldn't be laughing if I was free right now."

A smug smirk crossed his face and an intrigued gleam appeared in his eye, "Really? Well, in that case......" Her body started to lower to the floor, much to her surprise, but just before she got there, her feet fell short of touching and the Omega Master raised his hand towards Tuxedo Kamen, "I think your incredibly handsome boyfriend should have his turn first." Tuxedo Kamen suddenly fell to the floor without warning, though he managed to land on his feet and stand up straight, glaring at his mirror image.

"You're a coward and I will stop your evil plan. Maybe this beautiful rose can brighten up the ugliness in you." Pulling a single rose from his cape, Tuxedo Kamen held it gingerly between his two fingers and eyed his twin. With only a smirk from the Omega Master, Tuxedo Kamen flung his hand forward and sent the rose flying towards the Omega Master's chest.

The Omega Master, however, merely rose a brow and the rose incinerated in the air before it got to him, though leaving a burst of pedals to fan out around him. Tuxedo Kamen and Eternal Sailor Moon both winced at the display of power, and the Omega Master relished their reactions, "You think a measly flower can do anything against me? You may have the looks, but you haven't got the brains of a rabbit." With an amused glance to Eternal Sailor Moon, he began to approach Tuxedo Kamen and slowly looked to him with an arrogant smile, "I have defeated thousands of enemies that were enormously more powerful than you, and yet you stand there like you really think you could defeat me. Why?"

"Good will always triumph over evil, no matter how powerful. You may have defeated others more powerful, and you may even defeat me, but you'll never defeat Sailor Moon."

The Omega Master smirked lightly at that and waved is hand through the air in dismissal, "How droll. That good defeating evil cliche is far overused. But I am intrigued that you think I may defeat you."

Suddenly, Tuxedo Kamen fell to the ground in pain and clutched his stomach, taking in sharp breaths. Eternal Sailor Moon blinked for a moment, then struggled to get free again, "Tuxedo Kamen, what's wrong?"

"Oh, didn't you see that?"

Her blue eyes moved to the Omega Master and she blinked once more at him, "See what?"

The force holding her abruptly faded away and caused her to fall to her butt, though she did yelp at the impact and rub her backside a moment. Rising to her feet, she still held a hand on her sore behind, then glared at the Omega Master in anger, though he seemed amused at it, "Let me show you." His appearance fluctuated for a second, and he suddenly held up her Eternal Tier triumphantly. She looked in her hand and found it empty, then let out a surprised shriek. The Omega Master just idly twirled her Tier in his fingers and spoke in a candid tone, "You believe you can defeat me, when you can't even see when I attack you. You must think you can defeat me like you have defeated the other enemies you've fought. I find that......amusing." She winced a bit at his speed, then glared at him once more, a mixture of fear and anger filling her blue eyes. Suddenly she fell to the ground in pain, clutching her stomach and trying to catch her breath. With a triumphant smile, the Omega Master clutched her Tier and shook his head, "You really are too slow. All of this hype over the infamous Sailor Moon and, quite frankly, I'm very disappointed." In the midst of his arrogance, he neglected to see Tuxedo Kamen appear right behind him with his cane raised, silently ready to strike him down. As he swung it down, however, the cane found nothing but air, even though the Omega Master appeared to never move.

As he stared forward in surprise and tried to catch his balance, the Omega Master spun around and grabbed him by the throat, lifting him in the air and shaking his head, "Pathetic." A soft glow surrounded his arm and a burst of energy sent Tuxedo Kamen against the wall hard, sending cracks out around his body, a body that soon fell to the floor beneath them. He turned back to Eternal Sailor Moon and saw the pain in her eyes at what he had done. Even as she cried out and tried to each him, he denied her and caused her to float into the air once more, "I'm at an impasse, Sailor Moon. I want to destroy you, but you offer so many wonderful emotions when I harm the masked fellow. I wonder, how would you react if I was to kill him right in front of you?" The very idea made her close her eyes in dread, and it made him laugh out loud in delight. His plans were suddenly cut short as four immense beams of energy came out of the dark, hitting him directly and filled that side of the room with a great explosion. Eternal Sailor Moon fell to the ground once more and looked up to see the four Super Sailor senshi walk out of the dark, though a slightly different appearance to them.

"You guys are okay!"

They all smiled to her with a nod and enjoyed a quiet moment of reunion, especially at the seemingly disposal of the Omega Master. Super Sailor Mars brushed her hands off a bit and smiled to her widely, "Looks like we came just in time to save your butt, Sailor Moon."

Letting a small smile creep out, even at the statement, Eternal Sailor Moon stuck her tongue out at her for a moment. Then her realization came and she looked to where Tuxedo Kamen was still at. Running frantically over to him, she helped him to his feet and supported him, "Mamo-chan! Are you okay?"

"Just a little winded."

The smoke and dust settled on the other side of the room and revealed it was totally destroyed, void of anything including the Omega Master. Eternal Sailor Moon winced and stared at the wreckage, "Where did those beams come from?"

Super Sailor Mercury looked at her slowly and smiled weakly, "The Shadow senshi gave us the last of their energy so we could stop the Omega Master"

"Pity it didn't work."

A voice from the darkness sent chills up their spines and all of the senshi abruptly fell to the ground harshly, as if they were all thrown down by a strong blast. The Omega Master suddenly appeared before them without even a scratch on him, though the same arrogant smirk on his face, "Powerful? Hardly. Impressive that the Shadow senshi still had that much energy after their deaths, perhaps." The senshi suddenly found they couldn't even get up, like there was tons of weight on their bodies that held them down. The Omega Master smirked and tossed Sailor Moon's Tier from hand to hand, "You pathetic weaklings couldn't even beat the Priests without help and you thought you could defeat me? I'm feeling a bit insulted."

A wicked grin on his lips, flashes of light surged through his eyes and augmented the same type of flashes over the senshi's bodies, making them shake with each surge and yell out in pain. While they were being tortured, he walked up to Eternal Sailor Moon slowly and held out the Eternal Tier lightly, "You're nothing without your little toy, so take it." Looking up to him weakly, she reached to grasp it. Before she could grab a hold of it, he squeezed tightly and shattered the Tier into pieces.

"No!"

Her shriek actually caused him to frown at her and let the pieces fall to the ground in front of her, "Now, without your crystal, you are nothing. You are all nothing." With a disgusted look on his face, he brushed his hand clean and turned from them all, walking back towards the throne and letting the surges of light subside. Struggling to her knees, Eternal Sailor Moon picked up the shards and looked to them in disbelief. To her surprise, the fragments started to glow softly and floated into the air before her, as did the four pieces of Shadow Moon's broken Ginzuishou. They all merged together before her and started to swirl together in a cyclone of light and energy. A bright light flashed and her Eternal Tier fell onto her lap, with a new symbol on it of a crescent moon with a sword through it.

She looked at it with a blink and Shadow Moon appeared before her and only her, "Sailor Moon, my crystal has joined with yours. Your Tier now carries my symbol as well. You posses the power to stop him, if only you do it right. Both Ginzuishous are now as one, and you are the only one that can use them. Good luck."

Just as suddenly he appeared, he faded away from her sight and she grasped the Tier in her hands. As she slowly rose up, she faced the Omega Master with a look of determination burning in her blue eyes. The Omega Master stopped abruptly and turned his head to the side, "If I didn't know any better, I would say that we just had a visitor." He turned around all the way and saw her glaring at him with her new Tier, which caused him to smile weakly "My my, a new toy? And how did you manage that little trick?"

"Wouldn't you like to know. You're history."

A thin brow quirked a bit at her and his lips twisted into a smirk, "Hmmmmm, kindof a cocky attitude. Give me your best shot." Finding the last of their energies, the other senshi stood up behind Eternal Sailor Moon and faced him as well, ready to finish this once and for all. With a renewed sense if interest, the Omega Master laughed a bit, "Why don't we invite everyone?" Suddenly the other four Sailor senshi appeared next to the others and looked around in a confused manner.

Super Sailor Uranus blinked a few times and eyed Eternal Sailor Moon, "What's going on?"

"Glad you guys are here. We're going to stop the Omega Master for good."

Not exactly knowing what was going on, they looked at the Omega Master in confusion, wondering why he looked like Mamoru. In the end, they faced him as well and got ready, which made the Omega Master eye them all and get a confident grin across his face, "Now that everyone is here, let's see what you got."

"Okay, everyone, focus your energy together and we'll take that smile off his face." Eternal Sailor Moon said and pointed her Tier at the Omega Master, "Moon Crystal Power!" The other senshi nodded and started to focus their energy, each glowing their respective color. The glow started to pool to a central point in front of Eternal Sailor Moon and sent an immensely powerful beam at the Omega Master. The beam struck him directly in the chest and he hunched over, yelling in pain.

Suddenly, much to their shock, he stood straight and closed one eye as the beam was just soaking into him, "Feels a bit like.......a strong breeze. Don't disappoint me now, senshi!"

Super Sailor Jupiter winced a bit as she was straining to focus her energy, "No way!"

"Laugh at this! Moon Eternal Power!" Eternal Sailor Moon strained even more as a huge blast traveled down the beam at the Omega Master. He stopped smiling but then just raised a hand up, making the beam strike it and divert from him and obliterate the wall to the side of him.

The senshi's energy beams suddenly faded away and they all stood there exhausted, not even believing what they just saw. Super Sailor Uranus twitched a bit and clenched her teeth, "That's impossible."

The Omega Master suddenly grinned and floated up into the air a bit, holding his arms out to his sides and speaking in a superior tone, "It's not at all impossible, just incredibly superior to your weak powers. Not even combining all of your power can hurt me. Honestly though, I think you might win."

A voice suddenly spoke to Sailor Moon in her mind and she blinked at the sound, "Sailor Moon, you cannot simply destroy the Omega Master. Think, you must send him to a place where he loathes to be. The Dark Prism, Sailor Moon."

"The Prism? He shattered it."

"Use our Ginzuishou to create a new one, and then seal him in it. With the combined power of the two crystals, you can seal him there forever."

The idea hit home with her and she nodded into the air, feeling a renewed sense of purpose in her chest. Turning to the other senshi, she clenched her first and spoke in a commanding tone, "Can you guys keep him busy for a while?"

Super Sailor Uranus exhaled slowly and eyed her a moment, "Why?"

"I'm going to create another Prism to seal him away."

Tuxedo Kamen stepped forward and held his cane out with a nod, "We will give you all the time you need." The others nodded and he then turned to the Omega Master, ready to fulfill that promise. The other senshi stood next to him as well, getting ready to do what it takes to give Eternal Sailor Moon the time she needed.

The Omega Master watched them with an unconcerned look on his face, "If I didn't know any better, I would say you have a little plan."

"We are going to beat you, plain and simple."

The Omega Master smiled smugly at his twin and floated into the middle of the room, but still held his hands out to his sides, "Well then, whenever you are ready." All nine of them charged right at him and started to attack him with an array of physical attacks, and their energy techniques, but he dodged every single one with great skill and speed. After a moment, he laughed out loud and spun around once on his foot, "I haven't had this much fun in decades!"

Meanwhile, Eternal Sailor Moon held her Tier up and started to concentrate her energy into it. It started to glow brightly and the form of another Prism started to vaguely appear in front of her. Her teeth clenched tightly as the form becomes more defined and finally, another Dark Prism fell to the ground, followed by Eternal Sailor Moon from exhaustion.

The Sailor senshi and Tuxedo Kamen were trying their hardest to attack the Omega Master but he was effortlessly eluding them all. In an instant pause between attacks, he grinned slightly and clenched his fists, "All right.....my turn." Stepping forward, he slammed his palm into Tuxedo Kamen's chest and sent him thirty feet away, crashing to the floor in a cloud of dust. He then turned to the Sailor senshi and disappeared into thin air, only to reappear behind Super Sailor Pluto and knock her to the ground with a well placed elbow. In the same motion thrusted his arms to the sides and fired two blasts of energy that hit Super Sailor Uranus and Neptune, sending them skidding across the ground and into opposite walls. The remaining senshi attacked full force but right as they got up to him, their bodies froze in the air and a strange glow formed around them. They all started to scream in pain and four swirls of energy raised above their bodies.

"The Priests may be gone, but at least I will get some compensation."

The glow suddenly absorbed into his body and he let the senshi falls to the ground with no great care. He finally looked around at all of the senshi with a triumphant smirk, but then his smile slowly disappeared. Turning slowly around, he found Eternal Sailor Moon slowly getting up with the Prism in her hand. For the first time she had seen, fear raced through his eyes and his voice even wavered a bit, "You are just full of nifty tricks."

"You are the most evil being I've ever known. All you want is to destroy, and you're even amused by it. You want to see our universe fade out of existence and move on to the next thing you can manipulate to your advantage. I am Sailor Moon, I will defeat you and send you back to your prison within this Prism. No matter how strong an evil force is, justice and righteousness will always prevail. You, Omega Master, will never be able to hurt anybody again, never destroy the things that give life meaning, you are doomed to spend the rest of eternity in this small prism where your power will never have any effect on any living thing again."

The Omega Master let out a bored yawn and tilted his head, "Lovely speech. Just one thing......what prism?" She looked down quickly and found the Prism gone from her hands. Just as quickly, she looked back up to him and saw it in his hand, and the wide grin on his face, "I really am impressed, Sailor Moon. If you only would have used the Prism instead of giving that little speech, you may have actually sealed me in there again. Pity you talk too much." He raised his free hand up and she lifted into the air once more, and his tone became dark, "It's a pity to waste such a beautiful creature, but there will be others." He turned from her and started towards his throne once more, "As for your little prism...." She could hear the Prism shatter in his hand, though a smile is all how she reacted to it. Suddenly, a bright beam engulfed him and trapped him from moving outside of it. Eternal Sailor Moon dropped to the ground, then rose up and faced him with a triumphant smile of her own. The fragments of the Prism started to glow and reform in front of him, making him turn and glare at her in shock.

"I knew you could take it from me, so I created that Prism to seal up anybody who destroys it. Seal them up forever."

For the first time, the Omega Master looked at her with such a terrible look, she slowly stops smiling and winced at the red glow that appeared in his eyes, "You little....." His whole form erupted into a massive glow of energy and he thrusted his arm at her, making the whole of his power fly right at her. Instead of ending her life, however, the blast slowly faded away and became nothing more than a gust of wind through her hair.

Closing her eyes a moment as the wind blew through her hair, she opened them once more and stared at him with a cold look, "You're fading away with all of your power."

He yelled loudly, trying to escape from the light, but a bright flash of light came from the prism and he started to disappear as well. Just as he was disappearing, he smiled wickedly at her and spoke in a booming voice, "You think this is over? You will be destroyed Sailor Moon.......by the ones you love the most." A beam of energy erupted from him and sailed into the darkness above them, fading out of sight into a sparkle, and his image slowly became transparent. He faded away laughing at her, and the Prism slowly floated to the ground and hovered above it, spinning slowly and quietly. The other senshi slowly came to and looked over to Eternal Sailor Moon as she picked up the Prism.

"Is he gone?"

Eternal Sailor Moon nodded at Super Sailor Mercury's question and talked into her reflection on the shiny surface of Prism, "Sealed away for all eternity." The room they were in faded away and they found themselves on the mountainside where the destroyed portal faded away as well, becoming just another rock face once more. The sun was slowly rising on the horizon as the senshi watched, glad to be through the ordeal they had to endure. Super Sailor Jupiter, Mars, Venus and Mercury started to glow with the energy the Shadow senshi gave to them and it floated above their heads, and started to circle. Each respective senshi's energy formed into their planetary symbol and then disappeared from sight. Their faces dimming from the victory they just won, the price that was paid for it was heavy and each of their faces weighed with it.

Eternal Sailor Moon looked from them to the Prism and sighed lightly, "The Omega Master is sealed away forever, Yamito. Our universe is safe again and we have all come through alive. It's what you wanted, and I hope that you can stop hurting now."

Super Sailor Mars looked to her with a blink and noticed something about her she had either neglected to see before, or didn't want to see. Obviously clued out of a conversation she missed between her and the late Yamito, a curious blink stayed on her features as she recognized the look in her eyes, because she could imagine the same look on her face as well. Despite the silent thoughts going around, Tuxedo Kamen stood next to Eternal Sailor Moon and looked into the Prism as well, "Do you think the Shadow senshi will come back?"

With an estranged look on her face, Eternal Sailor Moon smiled and nodded to her reflection in the Prism, "Yep, I do, Mamo-chan."


High above the group, five ghostly figures floated silently in the air, peering down at the group with silent expressions. Super Shadow Moon slowly looked from the group of girls to Super Shadow Mars, a light smile on his face, "Don't worry. When the time comes, you'll be allowed to return to them."

"I know, Sentaku, I know."

Looking back to the group and sighing a bit, obviously some knowledge revealed to him about the future, Super Shadow Moon frowned a bit and spoke in a reverent tone, "And sooner than you can possibly imagine."

The five slowly faded away as the rising sun lit the city up behind them, filling the streets with an orange glow and warm breezes. The Sailor senshi watched in awe, sighing in relief as life resumed normal in the city of Tokyo. Life would apparently return back to normal, as if the Shadow senshi had never come and brought along the Omega Master and his Priests. To all of the Sailor senshi, however, that would never be true, for the absence of their friends would forever be in the back of their minds. And for some, in the beginnings and endings of each day.


In a small corner of the universe, in a solar system among thousands in the Milky Way, on a little blue planet with one small moon, a war was fought. Good and evil, the classic struggle set in the extreme with the end result being the Sailor senshi defeating the forces of Omega and sealing the Omega Master in the Dark Prism once more. All was as it should be. Usagi was late for school. Makoto and Minako were shopping at the mall. Ami was reading alone in the library. Rei was sweeping the path with a broken broomstick. Haruka and Michiru passed the shrine in Haruka's car, and Setsuna planned her day out in her planner.


The universe was safe and peaceful..............for the time being.
