Chapter Six: Evil Duplicates? Again?

At the place where the portal that lead to the Priests lair was, Super Sailor Mars and Yamito arrived at the same time as Kurai and Super Sailor Mercury came running up. Laced with confusion, Super Sailor Mars looked at the others with a bit of a blink and Yamito looked at Kurai quietly as the two girls talk, "Ami! What's wrong? I got a call from Makoto saying she was in trouble with some clones."

"That's strange, I got a call from you saying you were in trouble."

Both of them were absolutely puzzled and even more joined the party as Super Sailor Jupiter came running up with Kage in close tow, "Where's Minako? She called me and told me she was in trouble."

Just as she finished her sentence, Super Sailor Venus and Suteki arrived as well and were surprised to see everyone there, but no fighting, "Ami, why did you call me?" The whole group looked at each other puzzled and Super Sailor Venus looked with a suspicious glance, "What's going on?"

"So we each got a call from another one of us, but since none of us know what's going on, who called us?"

Yamito glanced at Rei for a moment, then brushed some hair from his face with his thumb, speaking in that cool tone, "If someone wanted to get all of us here at once, they did a very good job."

"Maybe your communicators are broken." Suteki's suggestion was met by a smirk from Ami, like she would ever let that happen, and at the same time, Rei crossed her arms and looked around with a scowl.

"So all of us got the same kind of message? I don't think so. I smell a trap."

Everyone seemed to agree with that and fanned out a bit, looking around for some kind of clue as to why they were brought up there. Suddenly, Kurai stopped in his tracks and looked around quickly, "I smell something." Everyone stopped where they were and looked at him, especially Super Sailor Mercury, who stepped towards him and gazed at him intently.

"What do you smell, Kurai?"

"A kind of stale smell, like the kind right before......" He trailed away and looked at them all, his eyes widening a bit, "Everybody move!" He Suddenly dove onto the ground and just as they started to scatter, a blast hits the ground between them, shattering the ground and sending them flying from each other.

After the dust started to settle, Super Sailor Venus struggled up and looked through the dust, spotting a figure a few feet away, "Kurai!" She ran over and helped Kurai up, looking at him in astonishment, "How did you know?"

Waving the dust from in front of him, he coughed a bit and brushed some dust from his shoulder, looking at the big hole in the ground, "Just before someone emits an energy blast, the air becomes stale from it parching the water vapor in the air." She looked at him with a blink and he just returned the look, shrugging lightly, "Something I learned in the war."

"So you remember who you are now?"

His expression was a bit shocked and he blinked, not exactly sure how to answer that, but Suteki yelling out saved him, "Hey! Where is everybody?"

She was a bit stumped why he looked so nervous but she turned to a figure in the dust and waved her hand, "Over here!" The rest of the group gathered through the dust to where Kurai and Super Sailor Venus were and all seemed to be all right. Just as they got back together, every clone that survived the long war appeared out of thin air, surrounding all of them. All of senshi quickly backed into each other and stared at all of them, keeping sure to protect the powerless Shadow senshi also. As her eyes darted from one clone to another, Super Sailor Mars growled a bit and looked at Yamito out of the corner of her eye.

"See if you guys can get out of here."

Yamito eyed her a moment with an unconcerned look, then nodded and looked at the others, gesturing his head towards the trees. They nodded and all four of them ran into the trees, surprisingly not being followed by any of the clones. She couldn't help but think that wasn't like Yamito at all, but she was glad he did leave as she glared at Fukusha once again, "You clones had us come out here for something. Are you going to fight this time?"

Fukusha didn't give the four leaving into the trees a second look and grinned widely, stepping towards the Sailor senshi, "Oh, don't worry, this time we have full permission to wipe the floor with you. Kill them!" The clones full on attacked them and they started to fight in a grudging battle, filling the air with energy and burst of bright light. After a brilliant effort by the girls, the clones were slowly driven back by the senshi and they backed them against the mountain side triumphantly.

Super Sailor Jupiter crossed her arms with a smirk as the four girls were moving in to finish off the clones, an arrogant smile crossing over her face, "Who's wiping the floor with who?"

The clones didn't seem very worried as they came closer, because suddenly the four hooded figures appeared in flashes of light right between the clones and the senshi. All of the girls stared in shock and images of the past come reeling back, which caused all four of them to yell out in unison, "The Priests!"

The figures said nothing but Fukusha stepped out from the side of them, smiling wickedly, "Not even close, you yourself saw the Priests killed. The Omega Master created four new clones before Sailor Moon sealed him in the Dark Prism."

"Impossible! He wasn't anywhere near anybody to clone them. The only ones he could hav......" Super Sailor Mars suddenly trailed away and her eyes widened, staring at the four figures in disbelief.

Fukusha laughed loudly as the four hooded figures lowered their hoods down to reveal their identities, which made Fukusha grin in delight, "Your realization is too late, Sailor Mars!" Confirming Super Sailor Mars's fears, the new figures were the clones of Sailor Mars, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus, smiling back at them like dark reflections from a terrible mirror. A long silence filled the air as the senshi stared at them, almost wincing at the scowls on faces that looked so much like their own. After a long time, Super Sailor Venus stuttered out a sentence and stepped back a little.

"They're us!"

Super Sailor Jupiter just shook her head in disbelief and narrowed her eyes, "No way! It can't be!"

Fukusha just burst out laughing even more as their clones spread out a bit from each other, positioning themselves for something, "They are your clones, and they want something you have."

"I don't care what they want, they won't be around long enough to need anything."

Super Sailor Mars got heated up and ran at the four of them, obviously a little ticked at being cloned. The other senshi didn't like the fact their clones just smiled and watched, and Super Sailor Mercury voiced her concerns in a passionate yell, "Watch it, Sailor Mars!" Barely hearing the warning, Super Sailor Mars quickly began to use her Flame Sniper attack, but her clone's energy grabbed her and froze her where she was. Nobody was more shocked than she was and struggled a bit, then yelled out in pain as the glow around her brightened more.

"Sailor Mars!" Super Sailor Venus jumped forward and used her Love and Beauty Shock on Mars' clone, making her reel back from the attack and causing the energy around her fade away. A mirror plane could almost be seen as the senshi ran to help their friend at the same time their clones offered the same support to her clone. The clones looked very angry at the attack and quickly looked over at Fukusha, giving him the orders he was waiting for.

"Now? All right!"

Fukusha quickly stepped up and straightened his suit a bit, an unnatural smile coming across his face. Super Sailor Mars growled a bit and shook off the attack, then rose glaring at Fukusha, "What are you going to do, dance for us?"

"The Priestesses have taught me a useful trick. Now pay attention, you're never going to see this again." He grinned wickedly and hunched down a bit, an energy forming around him as it all started to focus in front of him. With a bit of control, he formed it into a ball and stood normal, straightening his hair and smirking, "Goodnight, soldiers." The swirling mass of energy suddenly flew through the air at them, dispersing in front of them into a bright light that knocked all of the Sailor senshi out cold. Fukusha then walked up to them and stood over them triumphantly, "Looks like it's lights out for the Sailor failures."

Super Sailor Moon sighed a bit and looked into the city from Rei's temple, getting very worried about the others, "I wonder if they're still out with the Shadow senshi helping them get their memories back."

She and the rest of the Sailor senshi were a Rei's temple waiting for the others, and had been for a while now. Super Sailor Uranus was the least patient of the group as she leaned against a tree, "Why do we always have to wait for you to do these sophomoric things when there is business that needs to be taken care of?"

"It's not like them to be this late."

Artimus nodded at Luna and then looked back to the others, "Maybe we should call them on the communicators."

"Right." Super Sailor Moon agreed and puled her communicator out to call them. Before she even touched anything, the trees to the side of them started to rustle and put all of them on edge. Super Sailor Moon whipped her head to the side to find Kage, Kurai, Yamito and Suteki come pushing through the trees, with estranged looks on their faces "Hey, where have you guys been? Where are the others?"

Yamito let a slow breath draw out and pushed some hair out of his face with his thumb, closing his eyes and talking quietly, "They ambushed us. The others need your help."

Super Sailor Pluto stepped forward and held her staff tightly, tilting her head a bit, "Ambushed? By who?"

"Four hooded figures, and some other really pale looking people."

The senshi looked at each other all spoke the words in unison, "The Priests."

"Sailor Moon, we need to see the Dark Prism."

Super Sailor Moon's gaze moved to Yamito and she blinked a few times, finding that very strange, "Now?"

His cold eyes opened to her and he let his hair fall back into his face, nodding slightly, "The Prism might help us remember who we are. You will need the help and if we can transform into these Shadow senshi you speak of, we could defeat these Priests."

A little suspicious about this, Super Sailor Neptune shook her head and stepped forward, eyeing him with a smirk, "What if it doesn't help? We need to go to the others."

"What if it does work?"

She just huffed angrily but Super Sailor Moon broke it up, nodding and stepped towards Yamito, "All right, if you think it might help you remember, follow me." She quickly led them into the hidden room that had the Silver Box and the Dark Prism, sliding the door open to reveal it. They gathered around it and she used the Ginzuishou to open the box. The lid opened slowly and the Dark Prism sat inside, spinning slightly and glowing with a dark power.

"That's the Dark Prism?" Kurai ventured as Yamito stepped aside so he could step forward. He did so and reached into the box slowly, setting his hand on the dark object. The other senshi watched in silence but Super Sailor Moon nodded, then looked at Kurai hopefully.

"Are you getting anything?"

"Wait, I feel...." Kurai started then blinked, looking at the Prism as it started to glow brighter, "What the......"

A sudden flash of light sent all of them flying out of the room and through the thin walls, landing into the yard with a thud. Soon all of them were back on their feet and Yamito carefully helped Super Sailor Moon to her feet as she stared back into the room, "What happened?"

"I don't know. The Omega Master hit us with some kind of energy."

Completely not getting what he just said, she found the Prism a few feet away and walked over, picking it up into her hands and hollering at it, "Now what did you accomplish by that?"

"I got you outside where they are."

A bit taken back, she blinked and looked around, finding eight hooded figures floating around them all. Her blue eyes suddenly widened and she couldn't believe the Priests were really there, "Who are you?" Four of the figures removed there hoods and revealed who they are and her eyes seemed to go blank, "No! It can't be!"

Fukusha came out from the trees behind them and laughed lightly, "Oh, but it is. Sailor Moon, meet the fighters that will destroy you. The clones of Sailor Mars, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter."

She still stared in disbelief and the Prism spoke again, in that familiar voice, "Now, hand the Prism over to them."

"But who is....." She trailed away and looked over at the other four figures, stepping back a bit to the other senshi, who were ready for a fight. The four figures removed their hoods to reveal duplicates of the Super Shadow senshi looking at them blankly, like they were only halfway there. Hanging from their necks were the Shadow senshi's transformation rings and she stared in further disbelief, "The Priests? But how...." Her eyes wandered to the rings around their necks and she shrieked loudly, "Look! There are your rings!"

The guys looked to their doubles with an odd calm on their faces and the Prism chimed in once more, "Stop stalling, hand the Prism over now!"

"Never! We'll fight to the end first."

Fukusha looked at Super Sailor Uranus and shook his head with a grin, "I'm sure you will, but what about your friends?" A glowing energy field appeared in front of him and the other four senshi were floating in it, all knocked out cold still, "You wouldn't want us to hurt them now, would you?"

Super Sailor Moon took in a sharp breath and stared at them, not even able to say anything for the moment. Yamito slowly stood next to her and whispered to her, not moving his eyes from his double, "Sailor Moon, give me the Prism."

She slowly looked at him with a blink, then to the senshi in the field, "What about the others?"

"We'll try to get our rings back to save them, but for now, we have to get the Prism away."

Biting her bottom lip softly, she looked the field again, then back to him and nodded, handing the Prism to him, "All right, get it as far away as possible." Holding the Prism in his hands, he looked down at it and rubbed his hand over the smooth surface, not moving from where he was. She blinked in disbelief and turned to him, "What are you doing? Run!"

To her shock and terror, he slowly looked up at her with blank look, then smiled very darkly, "Thank you, Sailor Moon. You've put the Prism in the right hands." She could feel her heart stop from the look in his eyes and he slowly looked to the side, "Suteki?" Suddenly, Suteki jumped next to her and raised his hand up right into her chest, a wide grin on his face. A sudden burst of light and energy sent her flying to the ground painfully and skidding to a stop in front of Sailor Mars's clone.

"What is...." Super Sailor Neptune started but Kage suddenly landed in between her and Super Sailor Uranus, his hands raised in a fighting stance. In a quick motion, he kicked Super Sailor Neptune square in the back and sent her flying into the ground next to Super Sailor Moon. Right at Super Sailor Uranus turned and gave him a utterly shocked look, he winked at her and grabbed both of her arms, then lunged forward and headbutted her squarely in the head. The force made her reel back to the others and fall to one knee, more shocked that he attacked her than anything else. Super Sailor Pluto was suddenly hit from behind and thrown to the ground also, a stone-faced Kurai standing where she was. The Sailor senshi slowly rose up with confused looks on their faces and stared as the three of them stood next to Yamito, smiling widely at their deception. Before they could even ask why, the four that mirrored them started to walk towards them slowly, still no expressions on their faces. All eight of them started to glow slightly and a bright flash of light blinded the senshi for the moment. When they looked back, only four figures remained, straring at them with looks of amusement at the turn of events. They had the exact same clothes as the Super Shadow senshi, except all of the color was gone from their belts and symbols, and white strands of hair now flicker in the wind lightly where their normal hair once was. The senshi couldn't believe their eyes and especially Super Sailor Moon, who stared into the lifeless eyes of Yamito, wanting an answer.

"You were wrong in thinking the Priests were still alive. It was us all along, the Darkened Shadow senshi."

Feeling the betrayal welling up inside of her, she shook her head and pleaded with him with her eyes, "No! It can't be! You're our friends!"

"Friends? You were delusional if you thought we were ever your friends, odango." Dark Shadow Jupiter scoffed a bit and crossed his arms, leaning a bit onto Dark Shadow Mercury's shoulders with a smirk. He just tilted his head a bit as the weight came on his shoulders and smiled, his eyes on Super Sailor Moon as well.

Super Sailor Neptune narrowed her eyes at them and couldn't believe this herself, "But before, you fought with us!"

"As we came back into this world, the Priestesses separated us into three parts, the two parts that conspired to get the Dark Prism from you weaklings, and a third part." Dark Shadow Mercury explained and held up his transformation ring as it hung around his neck, "The people you knew as Shadow senshi; Kurai, Kage, Yamito and Suteki are sealed up in the rings. The ones you once new and fought with you, are gone. Sealed forever."

"Sealed forever, like me in this cursed Prism."

Dark Shadow Mars looked down at the Prism in his hands for a moment, then looked back at Super Sailor Moon with his cold stare, "I'm sure that can be fixed." She could barely keep the tears from forming in the corners of her eyes as she stared back at him, feeling very hurt by all of this. Dismissing her pain, he just moved his attentions to the clones of the Sailor senshi and held up the Prism a bit, "Now, how about finishing them?" The Prism glowed in compliance and created a beam that came over the four Sailor senshi in the energy field and also into the necks of the four clones. The clones closed their eyes in shock and their throats started to glow, then the beam stopped and they opened their eyes, feeling a bit different.

"I can speak."

Sailor Mercury's clone had a bit of a distortion in it and Dark Shadow Mars looked down at the Prism with a smirk, "Problems?"

"From inside this prison, I can only do so much. That's the best I can do from in here."

"Let them go!" Finally Super Sailor Moon broke her silence and wiped her eyes, standing up straight and making her demands, which seem to amuse all of the former Shadow senshi.

"How about, no?" Dark Shadow Venus quipped laughed a bit as he looked at the four in the energy field, "They're coming with us. After all, they're in love with us."

With that, he burst into laughter and the others joined him, except for Dark Shadow Mars, who just stared at Super Sailor Moon blankly. She took another step forward, only to watch the field disappear before her eyes, "No! Bring them back now!"

Dark Shadow Jupiter leaned off of Dark Shadow Mercury and uncrossed his arms, quirking a brow in a challenge, "Come make us." Super Sailor Uranus started to accept that challenge, when the clones surround them all and got ready to attack them.

Suddenly, Dark Shadow Mars spoke up in a commanding voice and stepped forward, "No, we will take care of them. You leave and take the Prism." Without looking away from Super Sailor Moon, he handed the Prism to a clone, who took it to the Priestesses and left them to look at it in awe. They all disappeared without a word, leaving only the Dark Shadow senshi and the remaining Sailors alone, and awkward in this new arrangement. Super Sailor Moon suddenly stormed up to Dark Shadow Mars and grabbed his shirt roughly, looking up at him with passion in her eyes and voice.

"What's wrong with you, Yamito? I thought the Ginzuishou helped suppress your dark energy."

For a moment, he just stared back down at her silently, no emotion flowing through those dark eyes. She just heaved angrily at him and the others seemed to fade away for a moment, until he reached up and grabbed her arms roughly. She winced a bit at him but didn't move away, just stared up into his eyes as he spoke, "Whatever we had between us is gone now, Sailor senshi. We are no longer your allies, but your enemies. You believe this is our darkness resurfacing once again?" He left the question up into the air and she winced in pain at his words, then watched in horror as his eyes started to flare up with power. The ground suddenly started to shake violently and all of them looked to the two, oddly humbled by the power that was gathering. Super Sailor Moon just kept her eyes in Dark Shadow Mars's and a red aura formed around him, causing the shrine, along with the trees around them, to start erupting into small fires. The waves of heat that were surging from the two made both the Sailor senshi and the Dark Shadow senshi cover their faces with their arms, all the while Dark Shadow Mars just idly leaned forward towards Super Sailor Moon. Endless amounts of mixed emotions filled her chest as he leaned close enough that his lips could have touched hers, though he spoke instead, "This is our darkness, Usako." Suddenly the whole area was flooded with a red light and massive amounts of heat, consuming everything in a powerful and intense fire.

As almost an eternity passed in the empty void of what followed, Super Sailor Moon tried to open her eyes but was having a hard time, her eyelids feeling like they weighed ten pounds each. Still, she could hear a familiar voice ringing in her ears and it seemed to draw her closer to awareness, "Sailor Moon!" In a surge of sensations, she could feel her head slowly pick up off the ground and just barely opened her eyes, finding Tuxedo Kamen holding her.

"Mamo-chan?"

His face softened at her voice and he nodded, holding her close as he spoke, "I've been trying to wake you for hours." With labored breathing, she got a little bit of her strength back and tried to look around, coughing a few times.

"Where are the others?"

"You mean where aren't the others. They're fine. They should come around soon." She sighed in relief and rested against his arm, closing her eyes and trying to get some strength back. Immersed in relief, he watched her for a moment, then sighed a bit, "What happened? It looks like there was a war." For the next few minutes, she told him what happened and he closed his eyes slowly, nodding a bit to her, "So they have become our enemies."

Her hand found its way to her eyes as she wiped away a tear, staring blankly at nothing, "I hope the others are safe."

"Are you all right?"

With a bitter laugh, she shook her head and hugged his arm lightly, "No, I'm not all right. My best friends have been abducted, we've lost the Dark Prism, and Yamito and the others have turned evil. Plus, they're way stronger than before. I'm nowhere near okay." Nodding slowly, he held her close and looked around the charred remains of the shrine and surrounding area. Staring blankly at nothing, Super Sailor Moon felt the hot tears run down her face as she remembered the look on Dark Shadow Mars's face before the blinding light, and she suddenly buried her face into Tuxedo Kamen's arm, whimpering lightly, "It couldn't possibly get any worse that it is now."
