Fiction!
I love to write. It relieves my stress, it focuses my
emotions, it keeps me from sleeping. The joys of writing are many
and few.
I have a number of interests that find their way into the
stories I write. Science and mythology are two big ones.
Computers are another. For more than ten years, my principle
works have been in science fiction and fantasy. That has changed,
and will continue to change, as I mature and practice my art.
I have tried my hand at mysteries and adventure, but have yet
to come up with suitable stories I can maintain more than a few
pages. My works, to date, have been short stories. Some I'm
holding back for professional publication, others have died early
deaths, and the rest you can enjoy here.
- 12/10/2002 - Added lastest chapters to my Ranma/Sailor Moon fic, and to Aaron Komar's Growing Up Quickly.
- 11/10/2002 - Added new story and page organization.
- 10/2/2002 - Updated Ideas page. Making preparations for site redesign.
- 12/31/2001 - Added Aaron Komar's Growing Up Quickly to my list of hosted stories.
- 11/25/2001 - Fixed the links to Douglas Ripsom's Cutey Honey Story
Updated the ideas page.
- 8/30/2001 - Yes, I'm still alive. I just added a link to a new story by an acquaintance
- 5/16/2000 - Updated ideas page.
- 2/5/2000 - Updated Ranma's Curse and added a contribution to A Good Day.
My original works (when I find them amongst my computers and
printed copies.)
- Thompson's Lake -- [I'm still looking for this one.]
A short piece I did in high school. At the time, I thought it was perfect. When I read it again
three years ago, I realized how bad it really was. When I
find it, I'll let you be the judge.
- The Party -- [I'm still hunting for this one.]
This was for my college class. At the time,
it was my longest piece. I can safely say this story came
from nowhere. No dreams, no movie inspiration I'm aware
of, and no books. If anything, the music in the story
drove me on.
My contributions to anime/manga fanfiction:
- Ranma's Curse -- [2-5-2000]
Ranma 1/2 is one
of my favorite series. This story is my contribution to
the phenomenon.
- Sequels -- [12-25-98]
A number of my oneshot stories have been picked up by other authors. I think it's flattering, so I'm posting their stories here as well. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.
- The Wish -- [11-1-99]
This has been moved to my Sequels page for your convenience.
- P-Chan's Flight --
This is a
short piece that would not let go until I sent it to the
Fanfiction Mailing List. Determined to outdo Ranma, Ryoga
learns a new technique. Unfortunately, things don't go
right for him.
- A Trail of Love --
(working title) This is the
authorized sequel A Trail of Blood by Ronny Hedin. In it,
Ranma and Akane set off to find a cure for his curse and
deal with the death of his father. Of course, his mother
is not about to lose her son after not seeing him in
nearly ten years. None of his fiancees and rivals want
him to get to know Akane too well, either.
- Cross-Over Stories -- [11/10/2002]
I've started a new category. I'm moving all of my cross-overs and/or fusions here. I've got a few started, and even more thought up.
Enjoy!
- Can't Win -- [11-1-99]
This story has been moved to the Sequels page for better grouping.
- Nabiki's Room -- [1-26-2004] Temporarily removed!
This is a side story to Lord Archive's The insanity Continues! storyline. This chapter covers a part of Ranma and Akane's honeymoon. Akane, being the hentai she really is, decides to use Nabiki's equipment for her own desires.
- Assorted ideas [10/2/2002]
Ideas on various stories, mostly involving
Ranma. I have a few crossover ideas and am taking over
projects started or proposed by other authors (with their
permission.)
- A Tree of Jurai -- [11-1-99]
This was a half-baked idea of what happens to Mihoshi when Washu gets fed up. Warning--this was written late at night, so expect poorly timed jokes of all types.
- Priestess -- [11-1-99]
Twenty years after Akane's death (before the failed wedding in the normal timeline,) Nabiki happens upon a shrine in a beautiful valley. At this shrine, she is about to pray for her success at a nearby martial arts tournament, as well as the understanding to deal with her son's strange dreams, when she meets the shrine maiden. The young woman looks like a clone of Ranma-chan
It turns out to be Ranma-chan. Out of grief, she locked herself as a woman. Her manhood was buried with Akane. Nabiki learns what has happened to Ranma over the years, just as Ranma learns similar things.
This is Andrew Norris' idea. I'm only doing the first three chapters.
Ideas not mine (at least not entirely.)
I have some friends that are working on a major anime
crossover. It's mostly Tenchi, but they have some wild ideas. As
they get the story done, I'll post it here. I can safely say that
they have captured the essence of the characters perfectly.
Another friend has gotten bit by the writing bug. She's currently writing a Tenchi/Slayers X-Over. It is interesting and should be fun.
Cutey Honey -- I volunteered to host a story for an acquaintance. It's pretty good, and he has excellent characterizations and timing.
Growing Up QuicklyI volunteered to host this story as well. It's a bit rough, still, but it's being worked on constantly.
