This is Sailor Mars, who controls the powers of flames. She can banish evil spirits by casting her scroll at them! It reads "calm and drive away evil soul".
Mars is also known by the name Rei Hino.
She lives in the Hikawa temple on the outskirts of Tokyo. She is a Shinto priestess in training.
Rei lives with her grandfather. He can be a little hentai at times, but everybody still loves him.
The whereabouts of Rei's parents are unknown, but it is rumored that her mother is deceased and her father is a busy politician and doesn't have time to raise a child.
Rei and Usagi don't get along sometimes. Rei gets really annoyed when Usagi whines.
At first, Rei dated Mamoru, and really rubbed it in Usagi's face. But when she learned that Usagi and Mamoru were destined to be together, she reluctantly accepted it.
