Chichiri is the mysterious monk that Miaka mistakes for a fox, (I don't get that. I mean, he looks NOTHING like a fox!) and warns her about assassins. I forgot the exact episode where he is introduced, but sometime when Miaka visited Tamahome's family for the first time... Anyways, Chichiri is a really awesome seishi and is the only one who can use magic. (He studied w/Taiisu-kun for a few years at that mountain which i forgot the name of...) See, he's got this little hat thingy called a kasa that he can jump in and disappear, and his little cloak which he can also jump in and transport to places.

A strange thing about Chichiri is that he tacks the phrase "no da" to the end of every sentence, but u probably know that if u've ever watched an episode of FY with Chichiri. I have no idea what it means and why he does it, but he does have a really cute voice. It's also great for singing! (And if u could provide any info on "no da," I would be eternally happy!)
