HATTI- Homeland of the Hittites - A fabulous page about the Hittite empire with lots and lots of info. Perhaps the most comprehensive info site about the Hittites on the net. Sad that the site is no longer being maintained, but you can still check out all the nifty stuff they have there. They also have translated anals by Mursili II delivered when he became king (and also some during battles, etc, etc).

AGE OF EMPIRES: The Hittites - From the official homepage of the computer game, The Age of Empires. It's a really awesome game where you can build your own empire and fight enemy countries. Best of all, it is very well researched and historically accurate. Please note the last paragraph on this page, where it refers to the letter written to Mursili's father by Tutankhamen's widow, shortly after his death. The events in volume 7 of the manga are based on this actual historical occurence.
