Card Captor Sakura Relationships

Hey people! I guess I'm just doing this out on a whim. ^^ This is basically an explanation of some (and hopefully, all) of the relationships with the characters of CCS. ^^

--Shaolan-- At the very beginning when Shaolan first transferred to Sakura's school, Sakura felt a little threatened by Shaolan. That didn't last very long, however, because she quickly thought of Shaolan as a good friend and persisted in this attitude long before, Shaolan even accepted her as anything other than a rival. After fighting many battles together, she considers Shaolan as a great friend who she can depend on and they have developed a close relationship with each other. In the end, Sakura falls in love with Shaolan...but it takes a lot of time on her part. ^^

--Tomoyo-- Tomoyo is Sakura's very best friend and Sakura is always greatful for her help (costumes, support, etc.) Though, Tomoyo's feelings towards Sakura is different, Sakura does love Tomoyo as a best friend but nothing more.

--Touya-- Sakura loves her brother even though, he constantly teases her. But what sibling relationship doesn't involve a little teasing. She cares for her brother a lot.

--Yukito/Yue-- Sakura has really liked Yukito ever since she met him and has been harboring a crush ever since. She even goes to school with her brother just to see him (sometimes involving engulfing her entire breakfast at one time ^^). She does express her feelings towards him but he helps her find out that she only loves Yukito like a family member. Sakura has a tiny amount of difficulty accepting this but in the end, she knows he's right. In Yue, she does not seem to harbor a crush like Yukito but she loves Yue just the same (like family). Ever since the judgement, Yue has been there for Sakura and they have grown close.

--Kero-chan-- Kero-chan and Sakura are very good friends and care for each other a lot. ...that's about it, I really can't elaborate. ^^ Give me a few more days to think about it. ^^

--Fujitaka and Nadeshiko-- Out of all the people, Sakura loves her father, Fujitaka the most. She admires him a lot and expresses this almost everytime she introduces or talks about her father. Nadeshiko, her mother, died when she was very long and so, Sakura doesn't remember her at all but she loves her regardless. Her dad and sometimes brother like to tell stories about Nadeshiko all the time, so it feels just like Sakura knew her.

--Eriol-- Eriol reminds Sakura a lot of her father and Yukito and from the very beginning, they become good friends. (Much to Shaolan's dismay ^^) They are enemies in the Sakura series but Sakura doesn't realize that until the final battle ensues. Eriol has made Sakura blush several times but I'm not sure she likes him _that_ way. She is amazed by the similarities between him and her father and considers him a really good friend.

--Chiharu, Naoko, Rika, Takashi-- These are Sakura's good friends at school and though, she is not as close to them as Tomoyo and Shaolan. She likes them a lot anyway and vice versa. They hang around with each other at school and sometimes outside of school. Chiharu, Naoko and Rika belong to the same cheerleading club as her and Takashi and the three girls are in the same class as her. They bring good times to the classroom and Sakura cherishes their friendship.




--Sakura-- At first, Shaolan considered Sakura as only a rival and though, still being a rival, aided her in capturing the Clow Cards. He also used to be a love rival with Sakura to Yukito.^^ Now he stays in Tokyo as a sort of guardian to Sakura, helping her when he can. As Sakura continued to be nice to him, they become really good friends and tho denying it for a very, very long time, he admits that he likes her a lot. (He blushes almost every time Sakura comes up to him now. ^^) With the help of Yue, he has realized his feelings for her and with the support of Tomoyo, he attempts time and time again to express these feelings towards Sakura. This leads to some hilarious moments but he does express them and after some confusion on Sakura's part, she finally returns his feelings. (awww...)

--Tomoyo-- Shaolan isn't as close to Tomoyo but he does consider her a very good friend. He is always turned into a nervous wreck when she tries to support him in expressing his feelings towards Sakura. They do talk to each other a lot and have grown a lot closer ever since they met.

--Kero-chan-- Shaolan and Kero-chan are not on good terms to say the least and Shaolan usually gets bitten on the finger as a result. *laughs* But they don't hate each other.

--Touya-- Whoa...don't get me started here. *lol* Shaolan basically does not like Touya. You could call it hate but those feelings are really not that strong. Shaolan's first encounter with Touya is when he was threatening Sakura and Touya picked Shaolan up by the collar where Shaolan promptly tried to kick Touya in the head. Yep...definately not on the right foot. They won't kill each other but they do have the frequent death glare match.

--Yukito/Yue-- Shaolan used to have a huge crush on Yukito but he later found out that it was because of Yue's power. Shaolan still likes Yukito but only as a friend.

--Family-- Not a lot, in the manga, is known about Shaolan's family but from what I can tell, I haven't seen Shaolan homesick at all and seems to be doing just fine living on his own. After the Clow Card Series, he _was_ planning on going back to Hong Kong but with the arrival of Eriol, he soon changed his mind. ^^

--Eriol-- Shaolan finds Eriol as a threat. Probably because of the quick friendship between Eriol and Sakura. ^^ (leading to some cute moments.) From there on, he does not like Eriol but I do suppose that Shaolan considers him a friend.

--Takashi-- Takashi is a very good friend of Shaolan. They do hang out with each other occasionally and despite all the lies Takashi tells him, Shaolan keeps falling for them. *lol*
