In the last chapter, Touya had just given all his magic to Yukito so that he would not disappear. However, in this chapter, we find out that Sakura had been just outside the open window and had seen and heard everything that had just occured. She has tears in her eyes and looks extremely sad.
The scene quickly changes to a few moments later where Sakura has joined the two high school students in the nurse's room and Yue has started the conversation. Yue asks if Sakura heard everything and Sakura answers that she heard that Yukito had collapsed and so she got very worried. She knew where the infirmary was because her brother had told her where before. AT this point, Sakura, full of anguish, with tears spilling from her eyes, apologizes. She apologizes because she didn't have enough energy and as a result, Yukito began to disappear. If her brother hadn't given him his power, then Yukito wouldn't have survived. Sakura apologizes once more and Yue kneels down to face her. Yue states that all the cards and guardians are all creations of Clow Reed and that it's only natural that Sakura, a child, does not have sufficient amount of energy to support all of them. He then states that if Sakura cried then Touya would be sad. He had just made a promise to protect Sakura and so, Sakura shouldn't cry. Sakura understands and she wipes away some of her tears.
After this, Sakura approaches her brother, lying in the bed and apologizes to him too. She then says that if anything happens to Touya, then she'll come to his side. She will definately protect her brother. At this, we see Yue with a caring expression on his face. Sakura smiles at Yue and says that he is very kind. Yue says that both Sakura and Touya have said the same thing and then Sakura states that Yukito and Yue are the same. The same in every way. This touching moment, however, is interrupted again when both sense Clow's energy. They look out the window but they can't find anyone. Eriol is in the trees and he states that if Sakura's energy continues to grow, it's going to be even more difficult for him to hide. However, he is not upset by this and states that she should hurry up. (politely, mind you. ^^ I don't know how to put it in any other way.)
Anyway, it is the next day and the teacher, Terada-sensei, is announcing that in the competition, their class will be doing this dessert café. He suggests that they should try their best and that if they want anyone to come, then they should invite them. The whole class seems to be excited about this but Sakura is depressed. Tomoyo asks if anything is wrong but Sakura only gives her a fague "Yeah...sorta..." At this, Shaolan seems very concerned but Eriol is smiling.
The next we see them, school has ended and Sakura has to leave because it's her turn to make dinner. They say their good bye's and Sakura leaves. Tomoyo and Shaolan are incredibly concerned but Tomoyo, being her cheerful, likeable self, changes the somber mood quickly by asking if Shaolan has told Sakura yet. (in other words, torturing him in a kind way. ^^) Shaolan says that he was about to but was interrupted by a scream. Tomoyo understands and then says that Sakura was very worried since she heard that Yukito had collapsed. With this, Shaolan looks very concerned.
Next, Sakura has arrived home and Kero-chan is happily waiting for her. No one is home and Sakura tells Kero-chan that Touya knows everything and then she says that Kero-chan knew that she didn't have enough power and so Yue began to disappear. She asks why he didn't tell her and Kero-chan replies that they both didn't want Sakura to be sad and try to do the impossible. Sakura, still down, says that Yue and Kero-chan have been sheltering her but Kero-chan says that this is not the case. He considers Sakura a very good friend and they both care about Sakura the same way that Sakura cares for them. This seems to cheer up Sakura a little bit and Kero-chan asks why Sakura knows about this and she promptly tells the days events to him.
After Sakura finishes, Kero-chan says he understands. He then states that Sakura and Touya's magic are ver similar to Clow's and that before meeting them, he had never met anyone that was anything close to Clow's magic, it's even more similar than Shaolan's powers.
This conversation, however, is interrupted by the doorbell. It's Yukito bringing Touya home. Apparently, he doesn't remember a thing. The visit doesn't last very long as Yukito puts Touya in his room and says that he's going to take Touya's place for his part time job since Touya is asleep. Before Yukito can leave, though, Sakura invites him to the café thing and Yukito accepts the invitation.
The scene switches to Sunday where the competition is being held. The dessert café seems to be a great success and Takashi is quick to tell one of his "true" stories. But before, he can finish, Chiharu promptly sends the lying waitor to a table. Everyone is impressed. Meanwhile, Sakura sees Shaolan and Eriol and says that they both look great. Eriol smiles and replies that Sakura's uniform suits her. Shaolan...is well...staring...(?)
Anyway, Yukito finally arrives and Yukito seems very happy to see Sakura. He says that the waitress uniform is very cute. (Tomoyo designed them....dang, she's good...) Tomoyo then arrives (as the ever present best friend) and tells Sakura that she's taking her place so that Sakura can show Yukito around. As they both leave, Shaolan once again looks concerned and Eriol is smiling. (I think, Shaolan is concerned that Sakura is going to express her feelings to Yuki.)
Anyway, Yukito is very impressed by all the work done in the competition and suggests they go into the hall of stars. (Sakura is smitten with Yukito at this point.) It's actually quite an exhibit as they go behind this large curtain and there are stars every where. (they're actually light bulbs) Yukito asks how Touya is doing and Sakura says that he is still sleeping. Yukito is very saddened and worried by this. Sakura then starts nervously trying to tell Yuki that she likes him. It takes two pages but she finally gets it out. "I...like...you." Yukito is a little surprised but he says that he also likes Sakura as well. But, the person she likes the most is not him. Yukito then continues that the way she likes Yukito is almost exactly the same way she likes her father. He and her father look very much alike and Yukito only thinks of Sakura as a child. Apparently he knew all the time (0_o...I guess he's not as clueless as we thought.) and he's very happy that Sakura cares for him...like family. Sakura understands and states that Yukito's favourite person is Touya and Yukito confirms this. (all TY fans are probably jumping for joy about now and partying...^^) Sakura continues and says that even her brother acts mean, he's very nice and that he's very shy so he likes to tease people. However, Yukito isn't sure if Touya feels the same way but Sakura assures him. (That's why, he gave up his power to Yue.) She smiles and says that she is very happy and that she'll beat up her brother if he does anything to hurt Yukito.
Yukito seems very touched and with very kind eyes, he says that Sakura will most definately be able to find the person that will become her favourite person and he will consider you his favourite person too. Yukito also tells her that if she finds this person then she should tell him and that if he does anything to hurt Sakura, he'll teach him a thing or two... ^^ (Awww...that's so cute...) Sakura smiles, agrees and they hold hands. However, once again this touching moment was interrupted by Clow. (he has a knack for that sort of thing, doesn't he?) All the lights begin to burst and Yukito protects Sakura. He quickly transforms into Yue but the threat is still there...
