Here is a (probably incomplete) list of works, and related works, for Seikai no Monshou officially released so far (a bit of information about where to buy these is available here).
This book is written by the editorial staff of Hayakawa Publishing as a prelude to the anime series. It mainly consists of interviews and talks over the novel and its anime. There is also "Presumptuous Diary" by Mr Morioka, which is a daily record of how he was getting presumpituous over the success of the novel ^_^;;

This book is also mainly written by the editorial staff of Hayakawa Publishing. The book contains three proper side stories ("Encounter", "Birth" and "Domination") and an "improper" one ("Festival") of Seikai no Monshou. The proper ones are about (i) the discovery of the Planet Martin by the Abh (ii) love between Lamhrh's "parents" and her birth and (iii) Painaich as a young girl ^_^;; The "improper" one is a joke story which only deep anime/manga fans will understand ^_-

This is a so-called "mook" for the anime version of Seikai no Monshou. The contents includes, background information, character guide, story digest, talks by the main staff and cast, and basic design works. Despite that it claims to be "Visual" Fan Book, many of the pictures are badly captured from the video and of poor quality (as far as the quantity is concerned, the title is probably justified, though).

Similar to the Monshou Handbook, this book is produced to promote the new TV series. The first 48 pages are in colour and contains digest of Eps.1 and Seikai no Danshou "Tanjou" (broadcasted on 7 April) as well as reference images for the new series. Pictures used are of much better quality than Visual Fan Book. The B/W section mainly consists of talks by the three seiyuu (Imai Yuka, Kawazumi Ayako and Shimizu Kaori) and messages from the staff.

For those who are not familiar with anime in general, "film books" are kind of synopses with a lot of pictures from the show (or manga book where anime images replace hand-drawn images). There are three volumes for "Crest of the Stars", covering Episodes 1-4, 5-9 and 10-13, respectively. The picture quality is varying but a new short story attached to each volume makes them reasonable buy to dedicated fans.

Another guidebook compiled by the editorial staff of Hayakawa Publishing. But this time the majority of the contents is written by Morioka himself; four side stories and two essays about the history of the Abh empire. There are also three essays by various people and an interview of Akai Takami. But the best bit to me is a short manga by Rasher Verack entitled "Feubdash Maid-tai (Maid in Feubdash)." It's a crossover of the Seikai series with Maid in Hanaukyo and really funny ^_^

This is a manga adaptation of "Seikai no Monshou" by Ono Toshihiro. Obviously a single volume of manga is too short to cover three volumes of the novel and it is more like a summary of the series. The art style, which makes the characters look much younger and somewhat deformed, makes the story far too comical. In short, it was a real disappointment to me. Yet because it is closer to the novels than the anime is, it may be a good source for non-Japanese readers to get more information about the series.
A Windows/Macintosh hybrid CD-ROM. It is a simple collection of illustrations, drawings, screen savers, icons and wallpapers. To be honest, I was expecting more, especially given the price (Y6800). For example, a font set for Ath would have been wonderful.
This is a war simulation game for Play Station. The story is pretty original and quite a few original characters appear.
The game comes with a short story by Morioka himself about an Abh girl Ghintec met in the Navy School. In a way it is a sequel to "Festival" and meant to be a joke... at least to some extent.
