The Black Moon Family
Cooan is the youngest of the Ayakashi Sisters. Her attack is Dark Fire, and she is Sailor Mars' equal. During a fight with Sailor Mars, Rubeus showed up and told her she was a disgrace to the Black Moon and never to come back again. Mars saw the good in Cooan's heart and convinced her to be healed by the ginzuishou. She then became good friends with Rei and the other senshi.
**In the manga, Cooan succeeds in kidnapping Sailor Mars, but Sailor Moon kills her.
Beruche is the second youngest of the four sisters. Her attack is water and ice and she is Sailor Mercury's equal. During a chess match with Ami, Beruche cheats by slowly turning her to ice. She is abandoned by her sisters when she loses the fight, and Cooan is able to convince her into being healed by Sailor Moon's crystal as well.
**In the manga Beruche kidnaps Sailor Mercury before she is killed by Sailor Moon.
Calaveras is the second oldest of the Ayakashi Sisters. She uses a whip as her main attack and is equal to Sailor Venus. She fights most often with her sister Petz but they usually battle together. While she and Petz were fighting the Sailor Senshi, Petz turned on her and tried to kill her with a strobe of dark energy. Once both of them came to their senses, they were healed by the ginzuishou and Sailor Moon.
**In the manga Calaveras is killed by Sailor Moon when she unsuccessfully tries to kidnap Sailor Venus.
Petz is the oldest of the sisters. Her attacks deal with electricity and lightning and is Sailor Jupiter's equal. After her sisters Cooan and Beruche were healed by the crystal, she and Calaveras went to get them back. Rubeus gave her a special strobe filled with dark energy to do so, as well as to kill the senshi with. While using the strobe, the power of it disabled her senses and she attacked Calaveras and tried to kill her. Coming to her senses, Rubeus appeared and created a warp hole full of the strobe's energy. The senshi destroyed it, and afterwards Sailor Moon healed Petz and Calaveras.
**In the manga Petz kidnaps Jupiter before being killed by Sailor Moon.
Rubeus is a memeber of the Black Moon Family and is sent by Prince Demando to the past to kidnap Chibiusa and capture the ginzuishou. He is also supposed to capture and destroy special crystal points which will destruct Crystal Toyko in the future. He uses the Ayakashi Sisters to do his dirty work for him. Eventually, they all fail and he disregards them, allowing them the chance to be healed by the ginzuishou. In a final attempt to appeal to Prince Demando, Rubeus abducts the four inner senshi into his UFO, demanding both the ginzuishou and Chibiusa or he will kill them. Sailor Moon then confronts Rubeus and he takes her into his UFO as well, along with Chibiusa. There they battle and Chibiusa manages to cut of his power source, enabling Sailor Moon to defeat him. The senshi are set free, but Rubeus' ship is set to self-distruct. The senshi teleport back to earth, but Rubeus dies in the explosion of his ship.
