 redbelt01a.gif (1034 bytes)  This is my Sensei, Master Nohara.  He was born on November 18, 1948.  Master Nohara has been studying Shorin-Ryu Karate for over 30 years on Okinawa, Japan.  Master Nohara is a Kyo-Sho, 8th Dan (8th Degree Black Belt) of Shorin-Ryu Ryukyu-Kan Karate.  Master Nohara teaches the following:   

  1. Shorin-Ryu Ryukyu-Kan Karate Kata

  2. Shorin-Ryu Ryukyu-Kan Kobudo (Weapons)

  3. Ryukyu Full Contact Karate

     Master Nohara dojo's sponsor the "All Ryukyus Full Contact Karate-do Open Tournament" on Okinawa, Japan.  This tournament is held once a year for the past 6 years.  Master Nohara is the President of the Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Ryukyu-Kan Karate Kobudo Federation.   Master Nohara has 6 Dojo's that fall under his teachings.
