Improvement on current systems:

• Electronic browsing through Singapore One: Summaries or reviews of books from authors may be scanned into the website. When users visit the webpage, they can read up the information provided on the books and decide whether they want to borrow the book or not. If they want, simply click 'Yes'. The library will have the books delivered to the user's doorsteps.
• Issue Virtual libray card: implemented for users who want to read books online. When users visit the website, they can assess books converted into electronic form. Disadvantage: Would it violate the law?
• Conduct monthly interviews: have different personnel or celebrity (ie Lee Kuan Yew, Zoe Tay etc) to recommend books they enjoy.
• Backdrops: provided at every housing estate. (May be too exagerated)
• Videotape author's speech about why books are recommended: allow users to view the tape online to enhance interaction and to provide sounds and movements.
• Accessing of electronic media through Singapore One: ie CD rom and videos.
• Replacement of cashcard: deducts fines directly from users' bank account.
