This is just an update to inform everyone that I now have a permanent domain. Hopefully there wouldn't be anymore need to shift around due to free webhosting closing down. This domain should stay up as long as I still have a job..heh..so pray hard for me folks! ;-)

Whoa!..more than a year without an update but hey, it's better late than never right? ;-)

Anyway, I have decided to stop updating this Geocities page as it is too troublesome fixing all the broken links here instead, I have consolidated my whole site and it is now hosted on Homex. 36th Golden Horse Awards
For those of you who do not know, Athena was nominated for the Best Actress award in last night's Golden Horse Awards. Unfortunately, our dear Athena lost out to Rachel Lee (formerly known as Loletta). However, Athena still managed to get up on the stage as she partnered the other 3 Best Actress award nominees to present the Best Supporting Actress award earlier in the show. If anyone has pictures or more details for me to post, feel free to email me. Thanks! :-)

Whoa..how time flies..it's been more than a month since I last updated this page. I thought I had better put something up before the millenium blows by..heh..and yes, this webpage is Y2K-compliant..so it should probably still be around next year..:-)

Nobody sent me any log of the chat so I guess you wouldn't be seeing it..sigh..you will just have to be contended with the pics..:-(

A kind fan sent me an email on news that Athena will be starring in a new TV series called Duke of the Mount Deer 2000 with Dicky Cheung Wai Kin. The series is close to completion and you can watch some clips of it here.

And I am sure all of you have noticed the incredible lack of updates to my page. The main reason behind it being my sheer laziness and the fact that I am in the final year of my course at NUS. I am also no longer as crazy about Athena as I was before..well, time changes a lot I guess. However, I would like to keep this page going as long as I can and I would appreciate it if you all can send any news of Athena you come across to me so that I can put it up here. Actually from what I see, my page seems to be the most updated Athena website around. If there is any which is more current than mine, then by all means send me the URL and I will gladly post it here. That's all I have to say for now..till my next update (hopefully soon..heh..)..adios! :-)

Okay, the livechat with Athena is still ongoing so it is not too late to catch some of the action..:-)

Anyway, I got some pics from the webcam up for those of you who for some reason or other was not able to attend the chat. Click here to see them. I will also try to get a log of the chat but I don't think you can actually catch much from it since it was pretty chaotic (usual for livechats). For her 28th birthday celebrations, Hongkong actress Athena Chu Yan will have a party with a difference -- it will be held online. To be held two days before her actual birthday, the online party-cum-chat session on Saturday will have 30 invited guests at organiser Pacific Internet's retail shop here.

Athena will be in the Hongkong office of the Internet service provider.

The 30 guests -- 10 supporters from her fan club and 20 subscribers of Pacific Internet -- will have a chance to see the petite actress and chat with her via video-conferencing over the Net.

Surfers can sign up at the Pacific Internet website to be one of the lucky 30. Those who are not selected can still go to the website on Saturday between 5 and 6 pm and join in the chat.

But they will not be able to see her pretty face.
