Article: Athena in Singapore!

Athena arrived in Singapore yesterday afternoon and was whisked off immediately to a press conference. The reason for Athena's presence in Singapore is because she was invited by Youth Challenge (a voluntary non-profit organisation) to come down and help in their recruitment drive for youths to do voluntary work such as visiting the aged. This event was organised in conjunction with Carrefour (a hypermarket chain) and yesterday night, Athena was at Carrefour in Suntec City to sign autographs for the first 500 customers with receipts.

Athena was not the only celebrity that was invited by Youth Challenge, the others that came down together with her are Ada Choi, Jimmy Lim, Ma Jingtao, Chen Derong and a few others. And together, they performed in a charity concert at the Entertainment Centre in Suntec City. As there were quite a number of people performing, each performed for a few minutes only. Athena sung 2 songs, one from her Mandarin album and one from her Cantonese album. The songs were Washing Machine and Glass respectively.
