Furinkan
High School
Providing the best (and only) education in Nerima
for boys and girls (in one case, the same person.) throughout Nerima, Furinkan
is the home of many, many strange but interesting and tourist-worthy attractions.
Take our infamous bonsai-tree-headed school principal who always wants
to give people a shave, or maybe the wonderful girls' locker room, where
our favorite lech can be found doing his favorite pasttime. Just don't
stand in his way! Of course, people like Kuno, Ranma,
and Ukyo all study here, seeing they're of the right age and all, and this
only adds to the fun of our never-boring-value-for-money
school! (As Nabiki would say.) So, if you're sick of the dreary,
boring old schools near your home, why not enroll here?

The
Kunos' Estate
Home to the Kuno family of generations, this
place holds many, many ancient treasures like magical urns and such. Also
the home to Tatewake and Kodachi Kuno, they do not take lightly to trespassers
and will more than likely send their servant, Sasuke, to deal with you.
However, should you be foolish enough to attempt
entering their home, be ready with a gift from Akane Tendou orthe
"Pig-Tailed Goddess/Osage no Onna", or Ranma Saotome. You'll be greeted
with opens arms then kicked out with an iron boot. Don't say I didn't warn
you!

The
Neko Hanten/Cat Cafe
What would a town be without its lovely, mythical
and famous local Chinese restaurant? Run by our loveable purple-haired
idol, Shampoo, and her white-haired, 300 (give or take a dozen) year old
great-grandmother, the Neko Hanten is simply the BEST in Chinese cuisine,
given that they both came from China. Just watch out for the unusual giant
duck in glasses, Mousse, because he's supposed to be waiting on, not eaten
by, you! Hope you brought spare clothing too, because Linlin and Ranran
are two of the local cute and cuddly little waitressess who are the local
entertainment, tossing bowls for your pleasure, but unable to catch them
for the same purpose! If you're lucky, Ranma might just pop on in for some
free food, and then you can watch your idol eat too! Order out? No problem!
Just give them a call and hope you've got insurance on your house when
Shampoo breaks through a wall! All this and more, just in one little shop.
Don't delay!

Ryoga
Hibiki's House
The one home not lived in, the Hibiki's is an
impressive storage site for many of Ryoga's wonderful travels,
holding everything from little dolls to giant bear-statues, this is a wonderful
dating spot as well, if you could find your
way there.

Ryugenzawa
Home to the gigantic animals that thrive on the
water of life, Ryugenzawa is tended constantly by Shinnosuke and his grandfather.
Feel free to admire the hungry but otherwise gigantic creatures here, just
watch out for the traps. And be careful about waking the Eight-headed Orochi!
Beer bottles to distract it are on sale for only 10000 yen each!

Dr.
Tofu's Clinic
The world-class physician, Dr. Ono Tofu, resides
here, where he treats the sick and the injured. The clinic of choice where
the Tendous go to when they've got an ailment, Ranma has been there quite
a few times, although not in the best shape. The only times when this marvellous
clinic isn't full is when Kasumi is spotted approaching the clinic. This
is simply the best clinic in all of Nerima, so if you're passing by, give
the good doctor my regards!

The
Springs of Jusenkyo
Welcome all to the legendary springs of Jusenkyo,
where many an unfortunate tourist/martialartist have fallen into! In this
wonderous place, located in China, in the Bayankala mountains of
the Xinghai Province, the springs of Jusenkyo
each boast an impressively unique curse of which
will turn the person who falls into one of them
whatever drowned there oh so many years ago.
Not satisfied with your curse? Then change back
into what you were with some nice, piping hot
water! Limited effectiveness only, for when in
contact with cold water, you'll change back! But
don't worry, hot water is plentiful in the world
of Ranma!
For your convenience, I have listed the more
well-known Jusenkyo Springs.
Springs :
Note : In Mandarin (the main dialect of Chinese),
Ni(4) means drown/drowned, or drowning.
Quan(2) means spring or water source. Thus, Nan-ni-chuan would literally
mean "Boy
Drowned Spring".
Nannichuan - The Spring of the Drowned Boy. (Almost)
Everyone wants to jump in.
Niangnichuan - The Spring of the Drowned Girl
: Ranma was kicked in.
Maonichuan - The Spring of the Drowned Cat :
Shampoo was knocked in.
Yanichuan - The Spring of the Drowned Duck(!)
: Mousse dropped in.
HeiZhunichuan - The Spring of the Drowned (black)
Pig : Ryoga fell in.
XiongMaonichuan - The Spring of the Drowned Panda.
: Genma was kicked in.
NiuHeManMaoRennichuan - The Spring of the Drowned
(DEEP breath)
Yeti-Holding-a-Crane-and-an-Eel-Riding-a-Bull
:
Pantyhose Taro was dipped in by Happosai.
XiaoQiannichuan - The Spring of the Drowned Akane
: Kiema took a dip in.

The
Joketsuzoku Village
Feast your eyes on the lovely ladies of this
Chinese amazon village where the lovely Shampoo came
from. Savor the sights and sounds, and if you're
male and you're skilled in fighting, you might
find yourself a wife here. If not, well.....
expect a killer on your back. But just avoid the friendly
locals and you might leave the way you came in.
Just be careful not to mistake of the amazons here
as Shampoo, Cologne, Linlin or Ranran, they're
already in Japan!

The
Tendou Dojo
Famous throughout the Ranma universe, the Tendou
dojo is where our hero/heroine, Ranma
Saotome, resides as a guest along with his father,
Genma Saotome. Mr. Soun Tendou and his
three lovely daughters, Kasumi, Akane and Nabiki
welcome you with open arms (and Nabiki an
open palm.) should you decide to walk in to visit
them. Don't miss the lovely Koi pond Mr.
Tendou keeps in his lawn, site of many fascinating
transformations of none other than Ranma
him...er... her.... (oh, what the heck!) self!
Remember to be ready to change rooms at a
moment's notice,
you never know what window, wall or door Happosai, Shampoo, Kodachi or
Ryoga might come
through! Be sure to treat the local pig well, don't dump him into the hot
water, and Akane might
spare you her cooking, if not the mallets! So, why not visit this Dojo
and
stay a while? I'm sure
if you're old enough, Soun might engage you to his unengaged daughters!

The
Tunnel of Lost Love
A cave guaranteed to test your mettle and tolerance
for your partner, this cave was visited by our
heroes once. Hey, if they could go through it
(mostly) unscathed, you might want to take your
next date here!
Who knows? You might join the legions of ghosts here, or come out in one
piece!

St.
Herbeke's/Bacchan High
Girls-only school of the infamous Kodachi Kuno,
the Black Rose, this is where she bakes her
wonderful cookies for Ranma, sleeping potions
and all! Bet the janitor has one tough job cleaning
up after her!
|
Ucchan's
Restaurant of the world's most delicious Okinomiyaki
cooked by one of Ranma's fiancees, Ukyo,
this is a popular place for the couples, especially
Ryoga and Akane! If you fancy a matchmaker,
Ukyo might just be the one you need, and her
restaurant the setting for it! Just be ready for the
cost of the Okinomiyaki.
