Legend of the Condor Heroes [ 射雕英雄傳 ] was made in 1994 and Chu Yan appeared in it as Huang Rong [ 黃容 ]..who is supposed to be a very cute and pretty girl of 15-16 yrs old. I think that you will agreed with me that this role suits her to a T..both in appearance and in personality. I like it best when she throws one of her tantrums..she looks so cute when she pouts her mouth..sigh..I could go on and on...

Seventh Month [ 七月俏家人 ] is a telemovie produced by the Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) in 1996 and Chu Yan was invited by TCS to star in the show. In it, she plays a Singapore girl who has an overseas penpal who stopped writing one day. Then 2 years later, she gets a visit from a stranger who is actually the penpal but he does not want her to know it's him because he is suffering from a terminal illness. Her profession in the show is a singer and she sings a duet (supposedly but it is not her voice..sigh) with the male lead (the penpal). The song is called Guan Huai Fan Si [ 關懷方式 ] and was quite popular in Singapore last year.
