Raye Hino/Sailor Mars

CHARACTER INFORMATION:

Raye is 14 years old. Raye has (in her opinion) the best leadership qualities of any of the Sailor Scouts. As a teenager, she has gained popularity amongst those her own age. Also, she goes out on dates (much more often than the others). At first, she disliked Serena (Sailor Moon) as being unfit personality-wise, as the leader. Later on, she then sees the error of her ways, and then helps out as a strong shoulder in Sailor Moon's crises.

Raye first appears in episode 7 (Japanese episode 10).

Raye dreams to be a singer/song writer, a model, and a wife.

Raye lives with her grandfather in the Cherry Hill Temple.

Raye used to have a crush on Darrien but because of Serena she couldn't. But now she has a crush on this guy who works at her temple. (Chad)

Catsy, a villian who appears in Sailor Moon R Part 2, has powers of fire similar to Sailor Mars.

During the transformation to Sailor Mars, Raye gets covered with rings, first her high heels appear, and then the rest.

Mars Fire Ignite: Raye says this to create a burst of fire. This fire can then be controlled, as a fire stream (standard attack) or it can be used to supplement the attack of other items (specifically, Moon's Tiara). (first appeared in English episode 7)
Anti-evil Sign: This item resembles a small scroll. If it is attached to an enemy, the enemy becomes paralyzed, making them more vunerable to attack.

Mars Star Power: Raye says this to transform into Sailor Mars. (first appeared in English episode 57 (63))
Mars Firebird Strike: Raye says this to create a blast of flame shaped in the form of a firebird. This firebird can then fly towards its intended target. (first appeared in English episode 48 (54))
Mars Firestorm Flash: Raye says this to activate a continuous stream of fire, which she can direct to any opponent. This is the same as Mars Fire Ignite in the original version, for some reason DIC decided to rename it. (first appeared in English episode 57)
Mars Celestial Fire Surround: Raye says this to launch several rings of fire that surround the enemy. (first appeared in English episode 57 (63))
