Character Sketches #1, Sailor Mercury - Part II, "Mizuno the Senshi"
Epilogue: last moves/first moves.
"This is the final boarding call for Flight 42 from Baltimore to Neo-Tokyo, with a layover in Seattle, Washington. Flight 42 is now boarding at gate 13-G. This is the final boarding call."
Well, I'm used to being self-deprecating towards myself, but I do not exaggerate when I say that this is the worst story I've ever written. Why? It was basically boilerplated. Around chapter 4 or 5, I shifted my main focus to BSSO. When I finally picked up the pen again, so to speak, I was in a completely different mindset, and it's reflected in the writing. In addition, I actually lost the outline which told me what I was supposed to do. Therefore, the last third was almost completely improvisational to a degree not even reached in my Journal Entries series. Then, I had to somehow explain the differences between the two segments, throw in exposition, and so on. I won't even start on the whirlwind that is chapters 7-10. This is not a good story, and I apologize for that.
Self-loathing out of the way, part three will be better. You can wager money on that. It is, perhaps, the most unique solution to a problem any fanfic writer has ever come up with.
That, I suppose, is all. Message ends.
