Ranma Saotome	Son of Genma and Nodoka Saotome, and was trained in the Anything-Goes style under Genma. Engaged to Akane Tendo, and in love with her. Is Jusenkyo cursed with the ability to turn into a girl.
Nodoka Saotome	Mother of Ranma Saotome, and Wife to Genma Saotome. Family friend of the Tendos.

Soun Tendo	Father of Akane, Nabiki, and Kasumi Tendo, and Husband to ? (Mrs.) Tendo. Close friend of Genma Saotome, with whom he trained with under Happosai.
Akane Tendo	Daughter of Mrs. and Soun Tendo and was trained in the Anything-Goes style under Soun. Engaged to Ranma Saotome. Is in love with Ranma.
Nabiki Tendo	Daughter of Mrs. and Soun Tendo, Sister to Akane and Kasumi Tendo.
Kasumi Tendo	Daughter of Mrs. and Soun Tendo, Sister to Akane and Nabiki Tendo. Is the love interest of Dr. Tofu.
Mrs. ? Tendo	Wife to Soun Tendo, Mother of Akane, Kasumi, and Nabiki Tendo. Deceased.

Cologne	Great-Grandmother of Shampoo, and trained her in Amazon fighting style. Knew Happosai in the past. Has opened ramen shop Nekohanten in Nerima area.
Shampoo	Great Grand-daughter of Cologne, and trained under her to learn current fighting style. Is in love with Ranma, and is the love interest of Mousse. Tribal "sister" of Linlin and Ranran. Is Juesnkyo cursed with the ability to turn into a cat.
Mousse	In love with Shampoo. Rivals with Ranma, is currently staying in the Nekohanten working under Cologne. Is Jusenkyo cursed with the ability to turn into a duck.
Linlin and Ranran (no link up yet)	Amazon tribal "sisters" to Shampoo. (Note: Linlin and Ranran are Anime-only characters not found in the manga.)

Sasuke Sarugature	Servant to the Kuno family. (Note: Sasuke is an Anime-only character not found in the manga.)
