SPIDERS BAG PPBL 2000 CROWN
Renato Abadilla scored 255 in the first game and a 195-pin average for the night lifting the Sampaloc Spiders above JPRizal Jaguars for the championship (4-0). The ever-resilient Jaguars made a good game out of it as they fought neck-and-neck up to the last few frames of the match. However, balanced scoring won the match for the Spiders. The Spiders decidedly won the first game by 50 pins (701-651). But the last two games could have gone either way as the Spiders managed to win the second and third game only with single-digit pin differences (607-601, 687-678). Congratulations to the SAMPALOC SPIDERS!.

THREE-WAY BATTLE FOR THE TITLE
Week 26 will be very interesting as the top three teams battle for the PPBL 2000 crown. The Jaguars whom three weeks ago seemed to have captured the title lost their last two matches giving the two teams that are chasing them a mathematical chance of winning the championship. The Jaguars need to secure at least two points when they face the Spiders to seal the victory. On the other hand, the Spiders need to win all four points to avoid the Coelhos from bolting to first place. For the Coelhos to have any chance of winning the title, they need to win by a 4-0 margin against the Anacondas and hope that the Spiders beat the Jaguars three-points-to-one. See Team Standings for more details.

THREE-WAY BATTLE FOR THE LAST TWO TOP-5 SPOTS
While the three-way mad scramble for the title is going on, three other teams will have a three-way collision of their own. The Anacondas will try to win no less than two points against their opponent to secure a top-five position while the Owls and the Falcons will try to prey on each other to avoid elimination. Currently separated by only half-of-a-point, only two among the three teams will walk away with trophies on their hands.

Bono was this league's first and second season top bowler. He took a leave of absence last season. Now that he's really back we will definitely hear more from him as the season progresses.

THANKSGIVING "GRACE"
Grace Sison-Que Thanksgiving is just around the corner. But for Grace Sison and the Herran Hawks it was on October 22, 1999 when Grace bagged two turkeys in one game. Grace has been making big strides on her game this season. She almost broke the 200 mark on week 2 and now this. Her current running average is better than 130, more than 20 points above her last season's average. Hoy Gracia, mag-blowout ka naman!
