Mrs. KENNEDY (part 2)

Mrs. Kennedy found another very young cat at the Eunos MRT (Singapore transit trains and underground) last November 2001 and she took it to her home.
Little Minnie, a kitten probably of less than one month old, in bad shape and abandoned, was rescued just in time.
Now, Minnie is part of the Kennedy Clan and has a happy life in the company of Sidney and Sooty, two adult cats already part of the clan.

More recently, Tommie, a stray tomcat that Mrs. Kennedy was feeding with other cats of her neighborhood, was found in a pitiful state: bashed on the head the cat was lying in the rain.
She rescued him and brought him to the vet.
After a stay of one week with the vet and the necessary cares, Tommie was saved and Mrs. Kennedy decided to take the cat to her home and to keep him.
This certainly saved Tommie's life, and he is now slowly recovering.
That's how Tommie became the 4th cat of the Kennedy Clan...

Unfortunately, the kind of  bad action that injured and crippled Tommie is still a too recurrent event  in Singapore, done by people having no respect for living things.
Fortunately Mrs. Kennedy and other compassionate persons living in Singapore try their best to compensate and to organize a decent life for stray cats.

When she was found in the vicinity of Eunos, Minnie was really in need of cares!  Approximately one month old, she had skin fungus, eye problems and the flu. Not to mention that she was only skin and bones due to malnutrition.
Mrs. Kennedy took her home by MRT and bus, gave her a bath and took her to the vet. After the necessary cares and also the loving attention the Kennedys gave to Minnie, her state improved quickly and she became again a playful kitten.

Two months later, as seen on the photos, Minnie is healthy and she is the third cat of the household, with Sydney and Sooty.
Sooty kind of adopted her, and plays Mr. Mom to Minnie !

And, as you can see it on the photos on the left, Minnie is really accepted by this male cat...
They play together, stay together, rest together.
A wonderful integration of Minnie in the Kennedy Clan!

Sooty is a cat previously adopted by Mrs. Kennedy who took him off street approx. one year ago when he was a small kitten. .
He's a little over one year old now and really happy.

(You will find photos and the complete story of  SOOTY- Sooty Kwan Yin in our pages, under reference "cat 27". Another fine story about love and cares that are given to abandoned cats)

TOMMIE

Tommie was recently rescued from the street when badly injured . He's now enjoying the surrounding of the Kennedy's home, giving him protection, love and cares. Tommie became the 4th cat of the household.
Due to the injuries he endured, Tommie cannot be anymore the joyful tomcat that was wandering in the neighborhood, but he received the chance of a decent life, thanks to the compassion and love of the Kennedy family.
