KHARMILAH  JA'AFAR

Kharmilah always wanted to adopt a little cat.
When one of the lady friends of a friend kept Nero, a small ill kitten she nursed, Kharmilah was intended to adopt it when the cat will recover. But this was a slow process. At the end, the foster lady adopted  Nero as her own.
A few months later, in the vicinity of Chao Chu Kang, Kharmilah saw a tiny ginger kitten coming from  the bushes. She couldn't resist and took the little cat home.
She named it Comel and the small cat became rapidly a new member of the family...

Comel, more affectionately called Mel -or even Mel-Mel, is displaying funny acts everyday, likes to play a lot and greets Kharmilah every time she enters home, sleeps with Auntie every time he feels cold. On top, he seems to understand everything that Kharmilah is telling him !

No matter how fussy he is, or playful, or curious he is... Kharmilah and her family love Comel a lot and would not trade any other cat in replacement:  Mel is one in a (feline) world
!!

Sayangku Awang Comel (
meaning: My cute darling Awang, in Malay) one and a half year old, lives happily  with Kharmilah and family. Not forgetting a pet hamster...
The cat shows some jealousy when seeing the little hamster, but Kharmilah keeps the whole thing in the friendly mood.

Comel is resting...
Mel is not a lap cat, he loves to explore the corridor, and sometimes, his curiosity
lands him in trouble. He will go to the
5th or 7th floor and not be able to come back (on the 6th floor) !
So, someone is bound to 'rescue' him !
Back home, he waits for boiled prawns... his favorite !

Comel ready to play
Playing is what Comel likes the most.
 He's always ready for it....
