May Day Gay Day - May 1
Suggested Schedule for May Day Gay Day at Tampa's Adventure Island, Sunday, May 1, 2005
Sunday, May 1, 2005, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PMAdventure Island, Tampa
Wear REDswim trunks or swimsuits.
Give yourself time to park and get in - approximately 30 minutes.
9:30am--Lockers - some near the entry gate, some near the volleyball courts
10:00am- Volleyball-meet at the courts or courtside diner/bar. Volleyballs available with ID card.
11:30am--Tube down the Rambling Bayou to get to Tampa Typhoon and Key West Rapids.
1:00pm--Picnic lunch at the entrance picnic area or spend lunch at the food bar next to the Spike Zone volleyball courts. Relax and chat with folks, make it a potluck/share picnic. Invite those around or walking by to join you if they bring something to the table/blanket or not.
2:00pm- Volleyball rematches & pickup games at the courts.
3:00pm--Wave pool. Get wet and cool down in the mid-day heat together after some hot competition at the volleyball courts.
4:00pm--Rambling bayou.
5:00pm--Beach dance!
