Steven Ngapo

This is his life

The beginning

Steven Ngapo was born on the 19th of August,1979, the healthy son of Norm and Carol, under a bush. Steve was one of the lucky few infants who was administered a breath of pure oxygen upon entry to the world by attending witch doctors. This was part of a radical new treatment, supposed to either result in the baby having the mind of a genius, or the mind of a slacker who would be compelled to attend an unknown tertiary education institute in a complete hole of a city and attempt to procure a worthless qualification. Why the treatment was discontinued a short time later is a complete mystery.

Steve : cutie

Stevie spent his early years lost somewhere in the Coromandal bush, and was reportly seen swimming in the very spring that the sparkling mineral water used in the production of New Zealand's favourite non-American soft drink, L&P, is sourced, near Paeroa.

Two Sides of Young Steve : MC Steve the ladies' man, and St Steve the Charitable

Soon after his discovery in the picturesque 'mandel hamlet of Kennedy's bay, he became a mainstay of New Zealand TV, featuring in over 40 television ads, and was swiftly granted the lead in a new situation comedy in 1984, but unfortunately was replaced before the first episode aired by his evil lookalike twin Gary Coleman.

Inside sources were quoted as saying, 'Steve couldn't have been happier - and then... well...'
