Because Hanover's citizens live all over the world, they
use the Internet to communicate. Hanover has an Online
Forum, where Parliament meets, government announcements are
made, and Hanoverians talk to each other on all sorts of topics.
You don't have to be a Hanoverian to visit our forums or even
post messages there: we invite anyone to come along and
participate in the discussion.
There are also frequent court sessions, held by the king
using the AOL Instant Messaging Service, to which any citizen is
invited. This is where government members can report their
activities to the king, and everyone can ask questions and keep
updated. Transcripts of these session are published on the forum
for all to see.
For more private matters, you can contact many citizens
by e-mail, or you can use the Private Message system which is
part of our forum. You'll have to be registered on the forum to
use this feature, but you don't need to be a citizen. Please be
patient when waiting for a reply to an e-mail or message - we're
not online all the time!
