Here is what happened on Saturday the 19th. The last day of this years E3. :( boohoo Byebye.

Well I had 2 things planned for today. First I would get to the West hall early to get in the front of the line to get in. Once we were let in I would go to the Nintendo area to get into the front of the line for the game to win a GameBoy Advanced. I figured that would take no more then an hour. Once I was done there I would spend the rest of the day over in the South Hall playing PC and XBOX games. yea.. nice plan.. Here is what really happened.
It all started out great. I got there early and was near the front of the line. But by the time they let us in the 2 lines had been broken up into 5 lines to try and keep the stampeed that happened yesterday from happening. And now I was quite far from the front. But no big deal I though. I'll still be OK. And when they let people in, stampeed.. damn everyone REALLY wanted to get to the Nintendo booth. Yes that is where most were running to. They all wanted to be at the front of one of 3 lines. The line to Rogue Leader. The line for SSBM. And the line to play the game to win an AGB. Damn.. and double damn. But I was OK, I wasn't too far back. But first one of the Nintendo bouncers screwed up the line, then a show rep screwed with it, and then the same brain dead bouncer from earlier screed it up again. It ended up taking me 2.5 hours to get up to play the game. Jesus was I sick of lines. I already explained the game yesterday in the GameBoy Advanced section, so I won't do it again. Unlike the last couple of days though, today they had Warrio talking to the group, well insulting us was more like it. But it was fun. The wheel spun. We all acted like idiots banging on the table making a ton of noise. The wheel slowed and I won a GameBoy Advanced case and a GameBoy Advanced. Yes, I won the GameBoy Advance. :) WooHoo. Yea.. That made the stupid 2.5 hour line worth it.
Now that most of the morning was spent in the Nintendo booth I decided to head on over to the South Hall. I spent the day playing a couple of PC games and a bunch of XBOX games. When I left I decided to go out from the South Hall. I noticed that there was something going on across the street... damn... that's where GOD Games was. Just like last year they did there thing outside in a block party. Well, I went across the street and waited in another line. This time it only took 15 minutes. They checked my ID to see how old I was and a midget put a wrist band on me. huh? Oh.. I see.. free beer in the big tent in the middle.. yes.. FREE BEER!!! First a free AGB in the morning and now free beer while looking at half naked women and listening to a Texas rock band to end the day. Man was this a great day. ^_^
