VIETNAM TRIP16 (Nov03-Apr04)

Minh_TÂM Premo is a world traveler and his 2003-2004 trip to Vietnam was arranged so that he could attend the Engagement Party (DAM HOI) for LY-Huong's nephew, UT (Chi Ba's Last Born Child). He left from SFO Airport in San Francisco, CA on ASIANA (Korean) Airlines (OZ) which flies via Seoul, Korea to HoChiMinh(HCM)/Saigon TanSonNhàt Airport (TSN). The trip included a twelve-hour layover in Seoul (hotel paid for by Asiana), so arrival/departure in Saigon was at midnight. The return trip from Vietnam was postponed to Sun, 25Apr04, and Minh_TÂM transitted through the Inchon Airport in Seoul Korea on his return to SFO in San Francisco.

However, assistance at the SFO and TSN Airports was NOT provided, as promised...:=( Therefore, the return booking was changed and another travel agent, VMC in Oakland and Saigon, is handling Minh_TÔM's return was on 25 April 2004 (see * below).

Minh_TÂM lives in Go Cong, Tien Giang Province, Vietnam and he travels around the city by Cyclo (Pedicab). Work on the Rose Garden, Minh_TÔM's garden in Go Cong started in 1999 and he has been assisted by several Vietnamese friends, including Minh Chau, BaSi Bong (Doctor of Flowers), who provided many of the plants and plant names. Minh_TÂM has a regular routine each day that includes working on the internet at NgocHuy and having Pho (beef soup) at XuanThanh or BoNe (beefsteak) his favorite restaurants in Go Cong; see MAP and Photos By: Minh_TÂM | Minh Chau.
