Photos from our second walk through haunt!

I wish that I had more of all of our hard work in the photos, but alas, I didn't have the handy dandy camera that I do now! This particular Halloween we were all sick as dogs, and there were quite a few days of working in the rain and drizzle. Thank the gods that we didn't get rain the day of the 31st...

Here's a cheapie skeleton torso. In the daytime, he doesn't look very impressive, but in the dark--under a green flood light--he's worth his $8.88. The legs were used to hang off the roof...

This is the *only* photo I have of the front yard, and it was taken during set-up so a lot wasn't finished. You do get a glimpse at my fabulous tombstones and our very first scarecrow.

Another closer look at the scarecrow. The mask was pricey but worth it. Inside we put a pair of scary flashing eyes bought from Target. He needs some adjustments but still pretty cool!

Ah, our beloved leech girl before the trick-or-treaters arrived. A theatre student by nature, shrieking about the leeches eating her flesh wasn't much of a stretch for her!

The Haunted Knight, now that was an expensive purchase (almost $300). I just couldn't leave him at the store, we met and fell in love! He's terrorific... about six feet tall. We had the guard shield down so only his eyes glowed red. More pictures of him for 2001 will be a definite.

Two of the freaks from the back yard scenes. They wish to remain anonymous, but yes, that is a chain saw that one of them his holding....

Here's a picture of most of the cast, there are a few missing. A healthy mix of both boys and ghouls, we had about 14 in all. Not bad for one backyard!

Romance in the fog...Yes, she's taken guys!

Can you guess which one's your faithful ghost-hostess? Here's a hint, I'm not the 7ft tall grim reaper, and I've already said above that my sister is the leech girl...
