Geometricism: A Psychological Hypothesis

The following link opens up a thesis on Geometricism that I wrote during my senior year in college:

My Geometricism Thesis.

Perhaps I should lay out some context for how I came to write my thesis.

I was taking the Honors Seminar class at Harvey Mudd College, which consisted of each student pursuing his or her own project. Hence there were no assigned books, no class sessions, and no tests. After having her project approved by the professor, the student would meet with the instructor individually once a week, so the professor could see that the student was making progress and staying on target.

At the end of the semester, each Honors Seminar student made a summarizing presentation, to the professor and the other students, highlighting the work they had done over the course of the term. As advanced preparation for my presentation, I gave each of the students a copy of my thesis.

I hope the students were enlightenned. :-)

Since 1992, I have done a great deal of additional work on developing my ideas, through journals. However, my 1992 paper remains a good summary.

The original title of the paper was "Introduction to the Psychoemotional Laws", but I have changed the title to "Introduction to Geometricism". So, with no further ado,

"Introduction to Geometricism"
