  Thomas D. Mahady was born
in Nyack, New York, and
was raised in Stamford,
Connecticut. He earned his
Bachelors degree in Fine
Arts from South Hampton
College and completed his
final internship with Roy
Lichtenstein. Tom continued
his education with a Masters
in Fine Arts from Hunter
College in New York City.
He now does commissioned
work. Tom's fine mural work
can be viewed here as well
in the Glen Ellyn Brewery,
and Glen Ellyn's McChesney and Miller grocery store.. His diverse works include oil portraits, landscapes, equestrian renderings, pen and ink Christmas cards,
and calenders.

Tom has shown at Gallery 129 1/2 in Geneva, Illinois, the Elaine Benton Gallery in Bridgehampton, Long Island, the Glen Ellyn Town Hall (12 foot square) historical mural and in West Chicago historical mural (14 feet square) which now hangs in the town library (above right picture). At your left, the picture is of a private residential mural of a rose window above an entrance way.

Solo exhibits include Colon Delanes Vox
Populie, East Villiage, New York City,
Beverly Art Center, Aurora College. Tom
has also participated in group shows at,
among others, Harbor Square Gallery,
Camden, ME; Visner Gallery, New York
City; Westbeth Gallery, New York City;
John Hancock Building, Chicago; and
Ferbilab, Batavia, Illinois.

Upcoming Events: Tom will be showing soon at Faces Gallery in Maywood, Illinois on Lake Street and 5th as well as the Kane County Fairgrounds.
