Hey, my name is Thomas Rasmussen. I was born in the city of Svendborg, Denmark, Europe. In Denmark I lived with my mother, father, and little sister. My mom works as a kindergarden teacher, my dad as section-leader in SKANSKA, a construction company. My sister is in 6th (1999)grade in public school, back in Denmark.
My mom`s name is Birgith and she is 40 years old.
My dad`s name is Bjarne and he is 47 years old.
My sister name is Stine and she is 12 years old.
We live by the ocean in a very beautifull white house. I love living by the the ocean, and it might seem like a luxury to live by the ocean, but in Denmark no matter where you live there is never more than half-an-hour to the ocean in a car. It is especially nice in the short danish summer time, because then when you come home from school you can just throw your bagpack at home and then walke to minutes and then you are on a beautifull beach, with a lot of beautifull danish girls,
Above: That is a picture of my city in Denmark. The name of the city is Svendborg, and the population of the city is about 50.000 people. Svendborg is on the South tip of the one out of two main islands, where also the largest % of our population livest On the left of the strait is one of many small islands in the ocean around my city. The verry small island that looks like it is connected to the land is the shipyard, whitch use to be the biggest work place in the city. As you can see Denmark is very flat so on that way it is a lot like Texas. I think that the two-three highest places in Denmark is bridges or buildings. I live down in the right corner just outside the picture.

The weather in Denmark can vary from the winters so cold that the ocean freezes so hard that you can drive your car from island to island, and then in the summertime it can so hot that the roads are boiling and it is impossible to be outside. But this is both extreme examples, normely it just rains all year.

When I didn`t go to school in Denmark I played a lot of Handball. Handball is a sport we have in Europe, that basicly the oppisit of soccer or Waterpolo with out water in a gym.I think it is the most attractive sport for people that is not playing because it combines the three"big" american sports: You have to be able to throw a ball hard (baseball), You have to be good at tackle (football), and if you are good at jumping high it makes it a lot easier for you (basketball). I know that a lot of americans like it when they saw it in The Olympics in Atlanta, so I believe that it is only a matter of time before it comes to America. Many people may agree when I say that think of myself like a little bit crazy, on a good way. I mean that you don`t have more fun besides the fun you make yourself. We had an exchangestudent from Baltimore, Maryland, Marissa. When she went back to The States she called me The Crazy Dane, and she still does.
I like to do crazy things like for example collor my hair blue. My mom didn`t like it, but I just felt that I had to do something different with my hair.
