| A-quack Breathers - Duck-shaped masks that allow the character using it to breathe water like normal air. Your Speed while Swimming is still equal to your Swim Skill even though you don't need to roll to see if you drown or not while using this.. Chum-Link - These are universal personal communication units... okay, you're right, they're cell phones, but universal personal communication units sound more sci-fi. These walkie-talkie type of devices allow commnunication between friends (or eave's dropping with a Build/Disable Contraption roll [set/disarm traps]). Money Chip - These are little coiny things that contain secure ways of transporting electronic untis of moolah. Best to have one of these to do all your buying. In other words, this is the Star Fracas' "Funny Munny".. Info-pad - These are little computers that can be used as calculators, sources of info, and even a fly swatter! Using an Info-pad requires a Read/Write Roll (or a Fight Roll if used as a fly swatter). Mega-Eyes - This wonder of sci-fi technology takes regular binoculars and adds side-view car mirrors. This resulted in making objects seem farther away ("Warning: Objects are closer than they appear). This wasn't much useful, so people started looking though the other end and this had the effect of being able to see objects close up! Holovideo - Much better than regular 1-D videos, these can record and play 2-D holograms resulting in incredibly realistic pictures (for cartoons). When used with a Chumlink, you can send 2-D emails to others. |
