1000 A.D.
This is the present world of Chrono Trigger. This is where Crono, our young hero, resides. He lives in the kingdom of Guardia with his best friend Lucca and his new friend (or should I say girlfriend) Marle. Here's the scoop on 1000 A.D.
The kingdom of Guardia is celebrating it's 1000th birthday and it's celebrating with the Millenial fair. Crono is invited to the fair to see Lucca's invention. At the fair, Crono bumps into Marle and the whole story begins...

Crono

Crono's just your average teenager who's destined to save the world in all times. His magic is Lightning and his most powerful spell is Luminare. He uses a samurai sword and the most powerful weapon he can get is Rainbow (70% critical hit).

Lucca

Lucca is Crono's best friend. She is the genius inventor who started this whole mess. Because of her Telepod machine, Marle got zapped back into time. But I guess that's good or else you wouldn't have a game to play! Lucca uses Fire magic and her most powerful spell is Flare. She uses a gun and the most powerful weapon she can have is the Wondershot. There's another more powerful weapon for her, but I can't find it. It's called the Valkyrie (Did I spell it right?) It's supposed to be more powerful, but like I said, I can't find it.

Marle
Marle is actually Princess Nadia of Guardia. She went out to have some fun at the Millenial fair and she bumped into Crono. That's how she got into the game. She is the weakest character of the whole game, but her magic healing spells kick butt. Her magic is water, but she uses another form: Ice. Her most powerful spell is Cure 2, which brings a person back to life with full HP. Her most powerful attack spell is Ice 2, so don't count on her to whoop up the bad guys. Marle uses a crossbow and her most powerful weapon is the Siren, but I think there is a more powerful one.
Crono's Mom
What heals the aching heart of a hero? Mom of course! Crono's mom is nice, except when she's yelling at you to feed the cat.
Taban & Lara
Taban and Lara are Lucca's parents. Lara got into a terrible accident with one of Taban's inventions and her legs got chopped off. That's why you always see her sitting in the chair. But, towards the end of the game, you have a chance to save Lara's legs from being sushi. See my walkthrough for more info.
Melchior
Melchior is the swordsmith that you meet in the fair. He lives on the Eastern Continent, near Medina Village. He seems to be just an ordinary guy. But you'll soon find out that he's not from Medina or Truce or any of the other places in 1000 A.D.
Well, that's the end of 1000 A.D. Oh wait!
I almost forgot the music!
