Red Flags in UFOlogy
Index Page
- Abovetopsecret.com: A popular conspiracy web site with cranky appearance and forum post.
- David Adair: Claimed to be a rocket prodigy on the Art Bell radio program taken to Area 51 to examine ET debre. Later proved to be a fraud.
- Col. John B. Alexander
- Dr. Richard Boylan
- Dan Burisch: Claimed of meeting an alien named the J-Rod along with 2012 and crystal skull nonsense.
- Nick Cook (UK)
- Robert Dean
- Richard Doty: Famed for being a so called counter intelligence-disinformation agent. A celebrity in UFO circles and conventions.
- Dr. Steven Greer: Confidence game trickster that embellishes testimony. He made a name for himself with the often referred to 2001 Disclosure Press Conference at the National Press Club. Since then Steven Greer has established numerous organizations asking for financial donations ranging from free energy research to pricey new age (UFO) retreats summoning UFOs using his mind.
- Richard C. Hoagland: Face on Mars fame. Served as an astronomy curator and science adviser (even though he's not a scientist) to Walter Cronkite during the Apollo program. Likes to play the NASA conspiracy angle going into a big soap opera about NASA personnel. A proponent of the ancient astronaught hypothesis. Made many silly cliams mixing fiction with science.
- Linda Moulton Howe: Reader beware. Paranormal journalist in UFO circles that will report anything that is fed to her. Has promoted Dan Burisch and the Isaac Drone hoax. Started out with credible cattle mutilation research.
- David Ike: Best selling conspiracy author. Stories about shapeshifting reptillians and Nazi UFO Mythology.
See: Stupidities: THE ENDLESS RETURN OF THE NAZI SAUCERS.
- Barry King (UK): PLF (Programmed Life Form) story used by Steven Greer to explain abductions.
- John Lear: Pilot and the son of Lear Jet, eight-track stereo tape inventor, William (Bill) Powell Lear. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, John Lear helped make Area 51 famous with the likes of Bob Lazar. His claims became more far fetched, non-believable over time. He started making claims like many planets in our solar system support life and large populations much like on Earth. He's been known to post on the tabloid conspiracy web site Abovetopsecret.com.
- Jim Marrs: Served in the Army (intelligence unit during Vietnam War) and journalist. Mixes Nazi UFO Mythology, NWO Conspiracy. Remote viewing, America is the new 4th Reigh nonsense with UFO/ET theories. Like John Lear he's been associated with the tabloid conspiracy web site Abovetopsecret.com.
- Project Camelot: Cranky UFO web site.
- Tim Matthews (UK): His real name is Tim Hepple and has a shady past. Uses Nazi UFO mythology + Secret Weapons Hypothesis to explain UFOs.
See: Stupidities: THE ENDLESS RETURN OF THE NAZI SAUCERS.
- George Noory: Replacement to Art Bell. Unlike Art Bell, who made the paranormal late night radio show famous and nationally syndicated, George Noory carefully screens calls. Many callers screened seem backwoods and cranky. No one questions his statements or interjecting belief systems. He has a problem with certain guest demanding evidence regarding UFOs and not others who also make extraordinary claims. Noory served nine years in the United States Naval Reserve as a full Lieutenant.
- Robert Salas: Exopolitics tag. Made claims ETs were going to send asteroids toward the Earth because of our political policy. Secret disclosure meetings being held at the U.N. etc.
- Dr Armen Victorian: One of several pseudonyms used by Habib (Henry) Azadehdel.
- Colonel Wilson
- Dr. Michael Wolf

Suspect Skeptics:

- Dr David Clarke (UK): Puts religion, folklore spin to UFOs
- Kendrick Frazier (Skeptical Inquirer). Frazier works at Sandia National Laboratories.

- Philip J. Klass: Is somehow able to explain away all UFO sightings attacking every witness or mutiple witnesses.
- Joe Nickell: (CSICOPs)
- Karen Olsson: American novelist who claims all alien abductions are due to sleep paralysis.
- Phil Plait: Bad Astronomy moniker. You have to be a trained observer to recognize what flies in the sky since all UFOs could not be ET. Insert best natural assumption to naturally explain away UFO's.
- James Oberg (CSICOPs, Skeptical Inquirer): Has a smear campaign against astronaut's who speak out on UFOs and people in UFOlogy. Worked at Johnson Space Center in Houston for 30+ years where UK hacker Gary McKinnon claimed to have seen high-resolution satellite imaging of UFOs being airbrushed out. Did classified work in nuclear areas.
