The Toronto Women's Dragon Boat Team is a competitive team with a shared passion for the fastest growing sport in Canada.The women's ages range from 16 to 62 with occupations in a wide range of sectors including health care, marketing, financial, e-commerce and education.

Going into its 12th year, the team has a history of being a highly successful, athletic and visible team. In a sport where all-male and mixed crews dominate, the women's crews are just starting to come into their own.The unique nature of our team draws the interest of spectators, press and fellow participants.

A roster of thirty and core crew of twenty women with a steersperson and coach meet three times a week for rigorous high performance training on Lake Ontario and the Credit River.

The team competes throughout the summer months at various boat festivals within Ontario, and on occasion in other provinces and countries. During the winter months, the group moves indoors to continue with a winter strength training regiment at the Mississauga Canoe Club.
